Free dining question...

For free dining, do you need to complete your vacation by the end date of the promotion period or just need to have started your vacation by that day? We are booked for 9/13-9/21 but I just realized I need to change my dates. I am looking at going 9/26-10/4. Would these dates be included in the free dining (if offered)?

In the past, your entire vacation would include free dining if you checked in before the promotion end date. Hopefully it will be the same this year if it is offered.

When I tried to book it as a bounceback, you could NOT go beyond the dates offered no matter when you checked in. I think that is how the rates for each season work now too. I'm hoping it will go by checkin date, but I don't think that is how it is going to work this year.

Even got a second room for someone NOT staying with me. Was able to do this by using my address on both res.....

It depends.As others have said in the past it has been allowed.However, this past Janurary Disney started their policy that in order to be "eligible for a discount or promo.All dates must fall within the stated dates of said promo or discount" They techincally can not be extended. With the bounceback policy, some cms have allowed some guests to extend, others have been told they could not extend the dates. According to the cms I have spoken with over the past few months, you can no longer extend past the end of the promotion. It seriously depends...knowing how disney tends to make and break rules on the fly, who knows for sure?

I am glad you were able to, but many of us out there were told NO.I think it depends on the CM.You should count yourself lucky you got a good Cm.
