Glad it all got figured out. Are you sticking with your dates or changing them to fit free dining??? There will most likely be a room only discount coming out about the same time that will fit with your dates. Good luck!!!

ADRs are not tied to a Resort reservations unless you use the 180day + 10 to make them. I actually made all my ADRs before I had a resort reservation. I did have to pay in full for CRT. Now we have FD and I am afraid to have a CM change the CRT ADR to use our Dining Plan as I have read that if they don't do it correctly you might end up with no ADR! Not going to risk it as the 4 girls in our party have never been and I was at my computer at 6AM 180 days out to make sure I got it.

I did the exact same thing with CRT in October! When you get to CRT, let your server know you pre-paid but want to use your dining plan and you will get a refund! They didn't even need the card it was charged to but I'd bring it, just incase.

WHAT????? I would be losing my cookies Sweetnjmom!! I think what I would do is tell her, "Fine, but I will be sitting in your office calling WDW as soon as you open. I will wait on hold and when they come on the phone I will let you take over. Wonder how she will respond to that!!

I've been trying to find it in the thread, but do we know if the RO discounts are the same dates as FD or if they are expanded dates? Also, will those be available on the 29th as well for DV holders?

Good to hear! Super happy it worked out! Miscommunication happens so easily, it is always good to give a second chance; she may not have understood how desperately you wanted her to call. And hopefully she will have a positive experience and will more readily do this for everyone.

There's a new thread for room discounts. But they run from September 29-December 23 with blackout dates between November 23-29.

To figure the price of the free dining discount package on value and moderate rooms, so I can compare before Monday, do I just price a vacation without dining plan for moderate and that would be my price, and for value do the same except add $19 per adult and $4 per child to upgrade the dining plan?

I just got my Disney Visa account!

I am very hopeful that I will be able to get on board first thing Monday morning and try to snag FD. I am going to call at 7:00 a.m., of course, but I was wondering if you can get in on-line earlier than that.

I seem to remember, in the past, getting access to the FD discount at 6:00 a.m. the day it is released by going on-line. But that was the general public offering.

So, is there a way to get DV FD on-line Monday morning before 7:00?

If I downgraded from CBR to POP, and paid the upgrade of dining plan.....the difference between the value and mod is only $25.21 savings....not enough incentive to move, in our case

REALLY?!?! IF i switched from POR to POP and upgraded i would save $453 staying 9 nights 2 adults 1 child. So i think i am making the switch! Plus I have to do a Room only for the first 2 nights though since we will be arriving on nov.9th.

They don't put the DV offered on the page. Maybe you did that with a broad offer, but I feel like those typically go up later in the day.

You can make dining reservations at 6a before the phones open on your 180 day marker.

My total right now (already booked with FD) is $2,890.55

IF I downgraded to

POP check in 10/18 thru 10/26
3 Disney adults
1 Disney child
8 day MYW base tickets
+ upgrade to basic dining plan...(not keeping QS)

Total: $2,865.34 .....if I have to pay the 'new' dining price

Total: $2,838.78 ....if I don't have to pay the increase

The least I'd save is $25.21 between 4 people or $6.30 per person each

The most I'd save is $51.77 between 4 people or $12.94 per person each
