Maybe you shouldn't count on what you were told was a rumor to begin with. You're entitled to your feelings but I doubt you'll get a huge rally from the majority of people on this board.

I'm with the disappointed but will try again on Thursday.

If not I'll be looking at RO discounts.

I've got so many contingency plans at this point that I'm hoping to just get everything finalized soon so I can worry about the huge trip I'm taking (not to Disney) in a month. It's really hard to plan a vacation when I'm leaking Mickey Mouse from my ears.

I joked with my CM about rumors sometimes being just rumors. She said its more like a leak of information on something coming VERY soon and recommended I try again soon and keep checking.

While yes I am a tad disappointed it didn't go live today, I have every confidence that it will go live. A CM told me after my last "do I have a pin" call that a new offer should be released early Aug. I am also very grateful for the rumors that are posted here. It helps me keep from fretting...somewhat.

Danny is the ONLY one that has always been 100% correct. So I'm not necessarily surprised about this. I'm up first thing too calling, hoping its true. But it's just a rumor and it was stated over and over that people shouldn't change and make plans around this until its official. No reason to be mad at the people that leaked the info. Still holding out for Aug 1st and hoping to hear from Danny!

Even Danny wasn't 100% accurate with the last leak, stating that AOA LM would be included, when it wasn't there was ALOT of back lash on these boards and he has laid low since.

We all need to remember that Joe, Danny, and the others are trying to be helpful and while we are all disappointed they were very clear that these were rumors and not to change travel plans or buy airline tickets until it was actually released by Disney as things could change.

Really if you don't have faith that the rumors are true then don't read them. Black says all the time that the info he is given is not set in stone and Disney can always change. It is just a hint to have you in the know if it does go to promotion.... and most of the time... it does. Black said 8/1 for the new promotion. We assumed that Disney Visa would be a few days prior. I know this was disappointing... i am disappointed too but Keep your fingers crossed and have faith that Disney will show us all some magic soon.

Folks, no one has said it is not going to happen. Disney Visa is always a gamble. A date is leaked and based on past history, it is speculated the Disney Visa will drop 3 days earlier. In 2010 for this time of year, there was no DV either. Lets wait till Thursday. So sorry for the disappointment, but don't give up hope yet!

Just appalled at some of the responses on this board this morning& this is a non official forum& nothing more. Its all good when these rumors are right and praise is passed around but as soon as one of the rumors is not true you are ready to crucify someone for being wrong. Is all fun when you can get a jump on the rest of the world due to one of these rumors being true but it fell through this time and someone said people should be punished for starting these rumors& WoW! If you are that dependent upon a discount maybe should not be going!!!

I agree, what someone said is clearly ridiculous,, but lets not go to the opposite extreme and say they shouldn't be going if they can't afford it without a discount.

Exactly. People need to be glad that they are willing to help us be prepared and get the first shot if it is released. They spend a lot of time on these boards.

It amazes me how nasty people can get when things don't go their way.

AGAIN - the Disney Visa portion of the leak was ALL speculation based on history. August 1st is the date that was leaked.
