So I still have not heard anything!!! I just want free dining, I didnt get an answer before but does anyone know if there are any value standard rooms left for November 11-15

Yes, there are standard rooms left under the free dining promotion at all three Values that have FD; ASMusic, ASSports and Pop Century.

I think it makes more sense for me to downgrade from POFQ to POP with QS. I was thinking about staying with FQ and taking the discount, but the teens that I'm traveling with actually aren't big eaters. Their meals would go to waste as they often want to order off the kid's menu. Sounds like POP would be a better choice for me right?
 
Yes, it is possible, but they may wait a bit to add any rooms back into the offer. I would have him book something he is comfortable with keeping now and then he can always keep trying to get what he really wants.

Sounds good- thanks. I booked 10 nights at POP with 10-2 as my check in date. My TA didn't get back with me til noon. She said it was a nightmare. I wish everyone could get what they want...... But
 
Well, after spending all day on hold, my TA finally got our two rooms switched to CBR with free dining. I am so, so, so thankful to her, but I really had sold everyone on POR and now I'm all, oh shiiiiiiiitzuuuuu. I'm half thinking that I should just go back to POP which was our original reservation... I'm ever so appreciative of her but I guess I need to do some serious research before I do anything crazy! What a day!

We earn a percentage. So anytime a cost goes down, we earn less. But all know that with Disney and most are MORE than happy to save their clients money..at least the good ones are:)

The trip she booked and the trip I booked are the EXACT same, so I think I will keep the one with her. Although I will still be micromanaging things by checking availability for my first two choices daily, and contacting her if anything opens up!

I think that is a great idea. And in this business I'm perfectly happy being micromanaged ;)

I've called 3 times today- with less than 10 min hold each time. I called the dining reservation number and asked to be transferred to room reservations and they did it super quick!
 
Coming from a TA who has literally spent most of last night, and ALL of today working on getting my clients a discount (which decreases what we make), I say definitely cancel yours;)

Yes, I agree 110%. It has been a day for Disney specialist TAs. I've never worked so hard to save clients money (which also reduces my own commission) and yet been so completely thrilled when I get to make those phone calls telling clients that they just saved $XXX on their Disney trip. Makes my day but it also makes for a looong day too. :-)

I've changed again. Originally wanted POR RR, but booked CBR. Then changed to Pop because it was less. Now we've decided to go with CSR. It's only $182 more, and DH likes the idea of queen beds and the fitness center. We've never stayed in a mod, and this wasn't my first pick, but I'm excited to try something new. Hope we like it!

Good to know! My TA is amazing and has been in constant contact with me all day, trying to get FD added to my current reservation, trying different dates, literally everything we could think of! So if I see my dates pop up ill be able to grab them without guilt since I would transfer them over to her! :)

WDW and DLR resort reservations transfers get the same amount of commission, however it has to be transferred within 30 days of being booked and it can't be paid in full. Disney Cruise reservations that are transferred have the commission reduced.

Even though our commission goes down, I truly love getting my clients the best possible price for their vacation. It feels so good to send that email letting them know how much they are saving! I saved my clients literally thousands of dollars today and I am back on hold right now.

Thankfully, my kiddos have cooperated for me today since I work from home.
 
I have been freaking out for hours for no reason! My TA has been on hold for 12 hours!! I've had a res. since April at Pop with dining (Oct 19-26) but with FD am switching to CRB. I totally thought I missed out but she went online earlier and booked the CRB package I wanted. :cheer2: She just got through and is going to cancel the old one! I've had nothing but bad news the past few months so I was not going to be surprised if I didn't get FD... this totally made my week though! :banana:

What am I doing wrong? I've been trying to call at various times all day and keep getting the "All circuits busy" message. I have called from several phones so is everyone having this issue?

Well....just called to upgrade resorts since I think the limited mod availability is going to make them über crowded.....for $9k MORe, I can upgrade to a 2 BR suite at CR, with a castle view......and nothing at Poly!

Thanks for the pixie dust! I'll take anything I can get! I am hoping a lot of people had stuff on hold and they will be released in the next couple days.
Our preferred dates are 11/15-11/24 at POR, we need AB. As I've said, I'd stay in a value, but I don't think my autism spectrum son would do well there with all the sensory input there, deluxes are out of our price range...I could get 2 RGR at POR for the same price! I'm considering Cabins but not sure if my husband will go for that.

Some have reported that they paid the new tickets prices and some say they know for a fact that they didn't. Makes no sense, but at least all of those people got some type of deal today. Hopefully they add more rooms for those who haven't had luck yet. :goodvibes

On a funny note and a bit off topic. Was watching everyone posting this morning at work when someone posted " POR sold out on fd" so I got worried and was suppose to post" going 11/11-11/17, did anyone get POR for fd" but my autocorrect changed it to " going 11/11-11/17, did anyone get pot for fd" well I hit send and went back to work. At lunch time I'm trying to find my post when someone puts, " I don't think disney is giving out pot with there meal plans" . I'm really having a hard time with this kindle or I really need to preview my posts before I hit send

If there is really no significant difference, those TAs have worked hard, so I would suggest going with original booking. My TA just emailed me that she had been on her computer/phone for 16 hours straight booking reservations for her clients. : )

I switched from POP to CBR with the FD. I hope I made the right choice, this is our first trip to Disney. We were going to go to Typhoon Lagoon for a day but with the pools and beach at CBR we are going to save the $ and spend a day there instead. (DS is only 6). I've read a lot of good things about CBR. :goodvibes
