After 1 hour and 20 minutes they picked up and I changed my ressie to POP for 11/2-11/9. I got an extra day and saved some money! :banana:

For my dates 10/19-10/23 nothing at all available at POR just fyi. CM is currently working on moving us to 2 connecting rooms at ASM and we will pay to upgrade dining. Fingres crossed it works.

Boo for no Chase Visa release.
 

Lol about the mute button...my CM said it would take a few hours for me to receive the email. It took exactly one hour from when I got off the phone with her for it to show up in my inbox.

Ok. I have been checking my email, neurotically, since we got disconnected just before the survey. I keep assuring myself that she got it and that the disconnection couldn't have affected the ressie. While on the call, she assured me she got it and wasn't in a hurry to get off the phone even after that. She was from the New York area, judging her accent, and was pretty low-key when she first answered. I was worried when I told her what I wanted to do and she said, "We can try" as flatly as you please. How cute it was when she got it to work! She wasn't as giddy as the CM I called last night (Princess- yes, that was her name) who told me that FD wasn't available but to check back at the end of August, but I could tell she had a smile on her face- she was genuinely happy for me. It felt much more real than the saccharine replies I'd gotten when turned down before.

Come on email!! Come ON!! :-)
 
SOOOO disappointed Art of Animation is excluded in the free dining offer. The room discount doesn't work with our dates either. Thought about trying to change to POR but my daughter has her heart set on a Nemo suite and really our family of 5 could use the extra space. Sigh.
 
Am I the only crazy one that is kind of excited I had to change dates a bit and resorts? Now I get to do the trip planning all over again. :rotfl2:
 
I think some of you guys are forgetting I do not have access to the American website... I am on the old website and there is NOTHING about the free dining promo on that site... and when I try to book online there is no where to put the promo code in... and no mention of free dining anywhere... HELP!!!

Wow, I didn't know that it wasn't available on the other websites. I thought today was the release for other countries as well. Glad you're finally on hold though ;)

Are any of you TAs getting through? Been on hold for 1:45 and counting. It's funny though because the recording said I would be disconnected after being on hold for 90 minutes?

I've been on hold for 1:49 and counting. I believe the message was not about a limit on the hold queue. It said that the call center CMs would only help you for 90 minutes. (If, say, you had tons of clients whose packages you needed to change.) After your 90 minutes with an agent had ended, you will be put back into the hold queue. I think you can be on hold indefinitely. :)
 
I started calling right before 7am and at EXACTLY 8:30am, the time I was supposed to be punching in at work, the CM answered. UGH!

Great news is I was able to switch from ASMo Preferred to Pop Std. for $4.96. I really wanted Preferred, but I wasn't going to pay another $100 (would rather put that towards MNSSHP or a tour). Was sort of bummed I didn't get the park ticket rate I originally booked our ASMo trip at. If I had, I would've spend the extra $55 for Preferred. But FD more than makes up for it!

I almost cancelled this trip a few weeks ago due to some unforeseen financial issues but decided to play the odds and hope for FD, which essentially eliminates almost all spending $ for the trip. :cool1:
 
My TA made my day. She got me free dining at POR RGR October 2-12. I was super stressed as I have always planned my own trips every year, along with many for family and friends. It was a huge leap of faith for me to use a TA and she definitely came through. She said many of her TA friends were frustrated by the lack of availability at POR. We had a booking October 5-15 and now my DD has to miss three days of school, but it will so be worth it. Very excited. Good luck to all of you!
