GOT IT! Didn't have to change anything. Got the FD for AKL stay starting 10/19. SO EXCITIED!!! Took 20 minutes of dialing and staying on hold for 1 hour 28 minutes...but I got it!

Are you waiting on a TA to change your reservation? I've heard they are getting longer hold times on their line as well.....and changing multiple reservations during their calls so be patient and that you get your first choice resort

Called at 7. 1 hr on hold. I almost hung up, when the CM answered. I got what I wanted though POR Nov 12-22nd. Saved over $1,000 for my family. DH is very happy with that! Thank you all for the help!

After 1 hour 45 minutes, finally got cm. she was able to get me music for nov 14 for 5 nights!! yay! But my balance due went up $200. When I priced it online it was the same price as I had before fd. I'm thinking she did something wrong.

Now I am just thinking to cancel that and book online. What do you all think? I had to call my boss and say I am going to be late lol.

YES!!! Got our FD and got to stay at POP. Our original cost with QSDP was $2291.74, we upgraded to pay for DP and our new cost is $2021.43, that's a savings of $270.31. It's not much but that's fine with me. Savings is savings. Now all I have to do is decide out of my 7ADR's which one I want to pay OOP and call dining and add DP to ressies.

After 1 hour and 20 minutes they picked up and I changed my ressie to POP for 11/2-11/9. I got an extra day and saved some money!

Wow, I didn't know that it wasn't available on the other websites. I thought today was the release for other countries as well. Glad you're finally on hold though

Not sure what problem people have accessing the website from other countries, we live in Singapore and I have made all my bookings through the US website, and paid deposits with an Australian credit card.

Wow, I called in right at 7 am central time thinking that was when they opened only to realize they open at 6 am central time.... but anyway I was only on hold for only 15 minutes and got my existing reservation changed with no problems and was able to still get a standard room! I'm shocked at all of you having to wait over an hour when I got through so quickly!

I hit the call button at exactly 7 eastern ( 6 where I live) and was off the phone with the free dining plan but a change in resorts by 7:18!!! Guess it was worth the effort to be on the phone at 6:00 am compared to the time others are saying they had to wait.

When it shows up online you'll be able to compare.....then call back at a slower time if something needs modified Good thing you got your reservation squared away....YAY

I think it depends on the number you called. I called the ticket line by accident (I read the wrong line on the website) around 8am. I got an agent immediately who transferred me to a different department where someone answered the phone immediately.

At first, she wasn't aware of any offers (sounded like I might have been her first call) but she looked and found it. When I asked if I had been sent to the wrong place she told me I was definitely in the right place.


I had a POR standard view for Nov. 3-9 for two adults and two children with deluxe dining and we wanted to move the start date to Nov. 1. After a bit of fiddling, she told us there were no standard garden rooms, only royal rooms. So, now we have a standard Royal Room at POR from Nov. 1-9 for only $200 more than what we were spending for two fewer days. Because of flight times, it's like getting two bonus days for us. Very happy.

Now I just have to wait for the confirmation email.

I guess I got lucky on hold. I called right around 7, got a busy line twice, then pick up and verified my info, hold for maybe 5 minutes, and then to a live person.

Unfortunately, we wanted FQ but settled for POR. Except the only rooms were the Royal ones and we didn't want to pay for the upgrade. DH is not happy, it's $ 500 more than last year for same dates, Dec 15 to 21. When I checked the RO for FQ, it was only $ 500 more for POR free dining.

Adding in airfare, which has gone up, it's about $ 700 more than last year.
