I have a room booked at POR from early July, with dining ressies linked. There's no FD avail at POR, so a TA friend put a hold on a FD room at CSR for me. If I cancel my POR room, will my dining ressies stay in place? Or do I lose them when I cancel the room?

Should not lose dining res, they are separate.

Was able to get FD for 11/2-11/9 by booking online. WooHoo! Kept trying for FD through the main page with no luck. I finally looked at the special offers page and used the link there and was able to book my trip. So, if you are having trouble try the special offers page.

Your reservation number should not change if she does it as a modification. The only ADRs that would be even be affected if she did it as a new reservation would be prepaid meals, but you could straighten that out later. Your ADRs don't get cancelled when you cancel a package.

I am currently in the Wilderness Lodge. Our friends are staying in the cabins. Is it worth it to save $1000 and switch to the Cabins? Has anyone ever stayed there? Thanks!

For me that's a lot of money and would be totally worth it.

I keep invisioning this small empty room with no windows or doors and a little table in the center of the room with a phone on it. That's the phone I'm on hold with .... it will never be answered .... and I'll be on hold for eternity.... bwahahahaha!

That's my concern. Im not doing a modification, just a cancel, I have a FD room on hold with a TA, new reservation number. The current is booked right thru disney. I'll just hope for the best, and see what happens.
