Called first thing this morning right at 7:00 on the dot. Immediately got the technical difficulties message. No prompts. Waited about 8 minutes. CM started taking my information. What happens? She says the system is down and is unable to book reservations. She tells me to call back in an hour. NO WAY!! I asked her if I could book online. She tells me to give it a try.

Got online, booked 2 rooms at POP with quick service dining all by my little self!!!!

I will have to call and make sure everything is right. I already had a vacation booked. So I have 4 rooms right now I think.

Just didn't want to miss the offer!!!!

Those of you still on hold, if you have a 2nd phone you can try what I did. Call the main # and hit 0 until it says transferring you to a CM. My other phone was still holding and that one was picked up within 3 min.

we're having to come in a day earlier than planned (and we'll be getting in LATE), but it's worth it. i did it online, so i'm going to have to call and cancel my LM room. oh well. it's going to save us lots of money on food! essentially, the cost of the QS dining plan is MORE than the rack rate for our room (since my oldest is 11).

also, the other day, we were able to apply my IL's military discount to our January reservation--we both saved about $600 each! i wasn't sure if they'd apply it to our room too (since it's my FIL who is retired military), but they said that we're good as long as he's there at check-in (we both have booked POR Royal Rooms).

Sister just got through...no FD available at POR so went for room only at AoA suite for 6 nights and came out to a $70 savings?! On hold for a supervisor now....geese...that can't be right?

ha, that's EXACTLY what I came up with for 6 nights at AoA for a client........$70 savings. The discount is only "up to" 15% and it looks like AoA is getting about 5%
