Just to add to the frenzy. DV rewards site has changed. They have already removed the september offer from the page.

Looks awful empty.....it was on there yesterday.

It was on the Disney Visa site prior to 12:00 pm EST...lol I checked and then checked back after 12:00 to see if any new offers would show up and pretty much nothing was there.....It did indeed look awful bare

They must have just changed it in the last 3 hours. I checked this morning around 10 or 11 AM EST and all of the offers were posted.

I am going to be watching the DV site like a hawk throughout the afternoon now... interesting... It wasn't changed this morning because I checked as well.

I hear it's for GP, but l have a sneaky suspicion that it may be for DV members tomorrow because I called today and was going to upgrade my room at POR to Preferred or River room and they told me their system was down. I asked do I need to call back later today or tomorrow, and she said are you a DV member? I said yes, and she said I would recommend you call back tomorrow. You might see a new offer.

Good news! As of Jan. 1, 2012, you can use a TS credit for a CS meal anywhere on property. However, they have cracked down on using a CS credit for 3 snacks. Can't do it anymore.

10 pages later...thanks for the information Smitch! Too bad on the CS to snack conversion, we have done that several times. At least if I have to go moderate I know that I can trade in the one TS we won't use though.

Has anyone had success getting FD at CR? We're going Oct. 18-27th. I looked up room availability last night, and they still have TPV rooms available (That's what we reserved.), but that's it:/

If this were the case.. I might do a cartwheel. The year it went straight to GP, I held for three and a half hours. Last year, early DV release, I held for six minutes.

I wish I could help you, but I am strictly a value resort girl. All I require is a clean room, a hot shower, and a bed and I am good. Plus, I love the "in your face" theming. If I wanted to stay at a Caribbean themed resort, I would vacation in the Carribean. We are park people, not resort people. Best of luck! No matter where you choose, you will still have a great time!

Smitch I'm with you. I could stay in a cardboard box if it meant being at Disney. My DH however, spends much more time in the resort due to his health and he preferred FQ over Movies when we stayed there. Plus FQ is small enough that he can get from room to food on his own.

we have and ADR Sunday night for Planet hollywood under the dining plan and an ADR Monday morning for Crystal Palace at 8. So I'll have to talk to them upon check in on Sunday how early they'll let me switch reservations so we can get to MK early enough. I also will have to figure out which other night I can get to PH and if there is an available ADR.

Maybe you could look up the Planet Hollywood menus and figure oop costs. You can then use the 15% off voucher included in your package so you can keep your Sunday night ADR. Their prices are reasonable especially with the 15% off.

yeah i had posted it about 11:30 that it had changed. i went so far as to play around with the web address but no luck. the original offer address ended with may13. changed it to july31 and aug01 aug1 no luck... way to much time on my hands

Trying hard to stay positive and hopeful for tomorrow! We are booked at POR in an AB room. I'm having a hard time finding anything that would work for a backup that would be less than what we are paying now or a deluxe that would make an upgrade seem rational. The waiting is miserable. I really want to keep POR and add an extra day. We would be able to swing that with the FD option but I'm really really nervous.......
