Ill be there, but in Mansions. Let's have a drink to wanting separate sections! :thumbsup2

Cheers!

I hear it's for GP, but l have a sneaky suspicion that it may be for DV members tomorrow because I called today and was going to upgrade my room at POR to Preferred or River room and they told me their system was down. I asked do I need to call back later today or tomorrow, and she said are you a DV member? I said yes, and she said I would recommend you call back tomorrow. You might see a new offer.

Oh this would make me feel better about getting POR.

yeah i had posted it about 11:30 that it had changed. i went so far as to play around with the web address but no luck. the original offer address ended with may13. changed it to july31 and aug01 aug1 no luck... way to much time on my hands

Yeah, I am "supposed" to be working right now but taking little breaks today. I went to my DV site and accessed it from there, but no new news. popcorn:: I'm feeling a little nutso right now. :rotfl:

Smitch425- I'm booked at pop October 6-12

Pop is a pretty big resort, but there are a lot of people planning on switching to POP if their current resort is not available. Just call as soon as you can tomorrow to have the best chance of getting exactly what you want. Best of luck! :goodvibes

For us it will be CSR, October 20-25. POP has always been my #1, but we are going to try something new this year!:thumbsup2

This may have already been mentioned, I don't have time to catch up right now, but another facebook post (I think from a Travel Agency) suggests that the dates may be off a bit. So beware there is still a chance we could end up not getting it. I am hoping and praying and staying positive until tomorrow, but anything is still possible. Maybe it will be good news and dates will be added rather than removed?

We're going November 20th - 30th

Plan A: POFQ (I know, long shot)
Plan B: POR (maybe RGR but will probably take any room category)
Plan C: CSR (not excited about this one)

If none of the above are available you will find me in a padded room :)

I think the Mansion will only accommodate 4 people as to alligator bayou will sleep 5..I am booked for Alligator Bayou..fingers crossed free dining will be in my future tomorrow.

I wish the Mansions would sleep 5 because they are beautiful!!! If someone else knows this to be different please let us know!!!

Our family of 4 stayed there in 2011 in a mansion room and my SIL joined us last minute, they allowed a rollaway bed in our room to accommodate.

Oh gosh you give me so much hope!!!!' I really want Visa offer tomorrow. When I called this morning and asked about Disney Visa for Oct she told me to hold on and the said not yet. I said okay I will call in the morning and she said okay in an encouraging voice (maybe me being hopeful lol)

Hey Tarheel Mom! I know, I am disappointed with POFQ not being included as well :( My plan B/C is either POR royal rooms or a split stay WL/Swan. I can't make up my mind which is plan B and which is plan C! I need some serious help! I have no plan D...

I can't even focus on anything I need to do today! I have lots to get done and so far...nothing has been accomplished other than one load of laundry and the light pick up of everything everyone think belongs where it doesn't! LOL Ugh...wait...did the few dishes also! Anyway...have tons to do and can not stop looking here as if I am going to get some magical gift of the room I want! I need to resist! It is going to be a long 17 hours!!!! Sleep tonight?? Doubt it!

Nov 14-22
Keeping fingers crossed for POFQ, otherwise a preferred room at POR or CSR.

hmmmmmmm, maybe some more folks need to call and see what the CM says. If it is for DV then Disney Visa and Disney better get the news out there so that a whole bunch of extra people aren't tying up the phone lines tomorrow :thumbsup2

I finally caught up on this thread! I really have read every message but have thought of a couple more questions, so I hope I am not repeating something that has been addressed...

* We are driving and will have a car there. Is it easier to drive from hotels to the parks or take the shuttle? How close are parking lots to the hotel rooms? If it matters, our first choice is POR and 2nd choice is CSR

* With the FD deals, do the standard rate (cheapest) rooms sell out first or is it sort of a crapshoot? That is what we want, and I do have backups in mind (would love to do the RGR at POR if I was "forced" to, lol), but there is a certain price point at which I will just go down to a value resort.

Speaking of value resorts, I am happy to see all the value love. DD (age 5) and I were looking at pics of the resorts online this morning and she really, really wants to stay at ASMu, just based on the photos. I'm almost tempted... if I can't get Mod rooms I want, I might just book there and upgrade to the regular dining plan. :)

We are going Nov 17-23, by the way
