What is everyone looking most forward to. For me, and the number one reason I decided to go with Pop Century is the tye dyed cheesecake. They better still have it. As for rides, I cannot wait to try the updated Star Tours. Are there really multiple film variations on the ride?

Oh my, I could shut this thread down with my response to this question!
Rides:
Test Track -- it was closed for the renovation last year
All of New Fantasyland -- only got to do Dumbo last year
Backlot Tour - closed last year
Splash Mountain - my favorite ride of all
The Christmas Party
Disney Jr Live on Stage - my kids are HUGE Sofia, Doc, and Jake fans! (part of the reason I wanted to go was to see my daughter's face when she meets Sofia! Now I do realize realistically she will be absolutely terrified of the character, like she was last year of everyone -- I still have scars in my neck from eating at Garden Grill when Chip (or Dale?) bounced into our booth and she screamed, threw her fork (into The Land ride below) and sunk her nails into me. Ahhh, memories. Where's the photopass photographer when you need them?)
Food -- Pooh's Stuffed French Toast at Crystal Palace
Donut holes at Chef Mickey
Chocolate Chip cookies at Tusker House
Trying 'Ohana and Liberty Tree Tavern this year

I could go on......but to sum it up -- I'm looking forward to pretty much everything!

You just reminded me of a few new updates I have missed as well as my favorite ride of all time Tower of Terror-best ride ever.

It's the thread that wont die...:rotfl2:

Well I guess we could start telling everyone how to reuse old mugs,

or how to sneak into the SAB for a bit of pool hopping,

or we could discuss what church's we like or dislike

oo oo oo oo we could talk about who voted for who in the last election.

It's never ending..............................

I thought they were going to start chipping the mugs.
And what is SAB? I wish you could pool hop to one place "legally," even just for one day.

No chips yet, so still the same mugs as the last two and a half years.

Stormalong Bay, the main pool at the BC/YC/BCV the only pool onsite where they actually do have security measures. It's the mecca of pool hoppers everywhere.

I never understood the allure of pool hopping myself. We go commando style and actual dread taking time out to visit another resort for dinning. To take time out to go pool hopping would be unthinkable. Of course if we are talking hot tubs I might be able to be persuaded. Which resort has the best hot tub and or sauna? It just may play a factor in my next stay

Our trip is currently priced out at around 3,300, for 5 people. That is room, tickets and fingers crossed for FD. That obviously doesn't include gas, gratuities, souvenirs, PP+, Pirate's League, and whatever extra we throw in there. I would prob say about 4,000 all together is a decent estimate.

We drive, which takes us about 10 hours, but we cross the time zone so really 11, since we lose an hour heading that way.

I work at a church, I am the coordinator for our Children's Ministry! :cool1::cool1:

Please, please, PLEASE have a new mug design by October!!!

Not sure what I should be looking forward to to since this is my first time at POR. Maybe someone here can tell me what I should be looking forward to. As far as everything else, spaceship earth, pirates of the Caribbean, haunted mansion, starring rolls, kona cafe, dole whips, great movie ride and its tough to be a bug.

SAB = Storm Along Bay

Ah, Beach Club. We ate at Cape May last year and I have made it my mission to stay there someday. Was supposed to be our "next" trip in 2014, but I jumped the gun and made the next trip this year's!
Just couldn't justify the price of the deluxe's for as little as we stay there. Even toyed with the idea of one night as a room only, but then I figured our luck, that night would have awful weather and we wouldn't be able to swim.
Some trip I will stay there!!!!

Looking forward to F&W. My mom who is probably one of the few people I know that is pickier than me is going (in fact this trip was planned for her to go).

I don't like a lot of it but I like some of it and it does help me expand my palate a bit.

Looking forward to a new resort (POR)

Looking forward to a couple of steak dinners. I like trying new resturants.

I was looking forward to the new Mermaid ride but now it looks like we're going to give MK a miss and wait until our return trip in Jan to try out the new Fantasy Land.

I NEED to try one of these Dole whips!

What's the best way to stay informed about the mug chipping and fridge situation for specific resorts?

I am looking forward to the expression on my kids' faces when they see Main Street and Cinderella's Castle for the very first time!!!!!!!
