It's been an off and on rumor but heard nothing concrete so far.

Oh how I'd love them to build a DisneySea there. That's wishful thinking though.

When they were building AOA I heard they were actually planning it to be stage one of additional resorts being built. I didn't really here any promising rumors about a new park from Disney's office's, just wishful thinkers, but I am hoping if I start the rumors up and everyone get's on board Disney will feel obligated to get on board. :thumbsup2

17 months and 5. It had been our first day at Disney and there were no naps or rest to be had by the 5 year old that day. So he pretty much crashed after the parade while we were waiting for the fireworks. We are being a bit smarter this year, with no park plans the day of the party, and hopefully some rest will happen so we can stay up late! The two year old won't make it, but she can sleep in the stroller!

That sounds like a good plan.

Ah the sugar high. We will be keeping strong control over his candy intake that day!

When we went in December, our kids were swimming...about low 80's...too cold for us too swim, but not for the kids :).
My book (The Unofficial Guide to WDW 2013) says for November an avg daily low of 57, avg daily high of 78, avg daily temp is 68.....But I suppose it varies, since it was so warm when we were there in December 2011.

Don't know how I could have forgotten but in 2011 we went to the Universal Harry Potter red carpet Gala event where we got autographs from twelve of the movie actors, but anyways the first few days we were there they had a cold snap or something and I believe the warmest in was only low 50s. and in the 40s I think when we did early entry and all we had were shorts. I joked with DW and said only we would go to Florida and instead of a tan come back with a cold.

IF they build additional resorts without additional parks Early Magic Hours I would think would cease to be quite so magical. Love the thought of Disney doing a SeaWorld like Park, though.

once again, I want to say thank you to Black for all you have done through the last few months with free dining. I booked free dining last Thursday and now I do not have to stress so much about the trip.. I'm completing more planning now! Thank you! :)

If they add more resorts, I suggest more smaller moderate, ala French Quarter, and with more rooms for families of 5!

Nothing will compare to the Disney decade of the 90s. The number of resorts built in that time were staggering. Plus they built a theme park just for good measure.

Though I would like to see them build the Mediterranean Resort that was long considered.

OMG...you just reminded me! Our first night (Dec. 2011), we went to HS to see Osborn's lights. My friend went to Disney in Dec. 2010, and it was really cold then. So, when we left the hotel room for Osborn's lights, I packed coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and HANDWARMERS in the stroller! My family was very embarrassed...many people were in shorts it was so warm! We had just flown in from Philly (where it's cold in December), and clearly my brain wasn't adjusting to the warm weather quickly :rotfl2:!

Oct27- Nov2, 2012. We definitely used 2 wardrobes. Hurricane Sandy and a cold front were merging and it was cold and windy!!! Like you, came home with a cold, no tan!

That would be awesome to see Disney's take on SeaWorld. We went to SeaWorld last year and I was not that impressed having just spent 3 days at Disney.

I agree there, and I am only a family of 3.

That would be cool. I always wanted them to do a space based/futuristic resort though.

One of the things I like about driving. Room for more bags to pack for all weather contingencies

November weather in Florida is definitely a challenge. I feel like we brought a bag every day to keep a change of clothes -- we'd start in jeans, switch to shorts, then back to jeans at the end of the night. And our suitcases were packed full with alternatives, from tank tops to sweatshirts -- and we wore both!

Sounds like my wife, I on the other hand wear shorts year round, in Connecticut, rain or snow, so a little cool air down south doesn't bother me.

.

I'm only a family of four, but have thoughts of becoming five! Of all the reasons to have/not have a third child, Disney resort accommodations should not be a factor! Just seems it is a problem too many people on here faced. Too few rooms at moderates, none at values except suites, and then deluxe gets so expensive!

Good idea, I always say one can add on as many clothes as needed but you can only take off so much without being thrown out of the park.
