Ohhh, I have another beef with Disney (not really but I think it would be awesome). I want them to fix their Characters at the park. I hate going up to Mickey and having him just stand there and wave. They need to integrate voice changers in the suits that are setup each day to make the person inside sound like the Character. I know it's not impossible, especially for an imagineer.

Sounds like my wife, I on the other hand wear shorts year round, in Connecticut, rain or snow, so a little cool air down south doesn't bother me.

You're in Connecticut? I have the funniest story ever about a group from Connecticut.

Furthest I've driven is a toss up between Miami and Dallas. Those were just over 20 hours each way.

I drove straight through (well almost my friend gave me a couple of 2 hour breaks) 26 hours from Oklahoma City to Virginia Beach Virginia. Then back again three days later.

What's scarier for me is that it was before map quest. We had numbers of highways written down, on notebook paper.

Got a ticket in Tennesee for speeding.

We were very young and we had a week to get there and back so that she could see her fiancé.

What is everyone looking most forward to. For me, and the number one reason I decided to go with Pop Century is the tye dyed cheesecake. They better still have it. As for rides, I cannot wait to try the updated Star Tours. Are there really multiple film variations on the ride?

I'm looking forward to the campfire by the river at POR. I am so pooped I need to take a relaxation break LOL. Seriously though, I am most looking forward to the Wishes Desert Party (I better get a ressie!), and for rides I am looking forward to the fact that I will actually get to ride some good ones this year (last year my son was to small to do many rides and the trip was all about him because we only had 3 day's and it was his birthday)

Ah yes the tie-dye cheesecake at POP is great! We were last there in 2009. Last reports I have read here is that they do still have it although there have been some days where they have sold out! :( as for Star Tours...yep I believe I read somewhere that there are around 50 different variations of the new ride! Looking forward to ride them all we we go there in November! :)

Black you're holding out on me. Story about a group from CT???? Inquiring minds need to know.

Also, looking forward to trying Hoop Dee Doo for the first time. Anyone know how difficult it is getting there and back from POP?

Does anyone know if POR still has the HUGE banana split that Dixie Landings had?

It's the thread that wont die...:rotfl2:

Well I guess we could start telling everyone how to reuse old mugs,

or how to sneak into the SAB for a bit of pool hopping,

or we could discuss what church's we like or dislike

oo oo oo oo we could talk about who voted for who in the last election.

It's never ending..............................

I thought as a resort guest you could visit any pool you wanted. If not, that's my story and I am sticking to it.
