Well...you have been a bit occupied with this thread.

Dunno how I missed that. But I added my date. Looks like a few there that night.
People without tickets are promptly herded to the gates by CMs at or slightly before 7pm. People with party tickets can enter as early as 4pm with just their MNSSHP ticket (no regular MYW ticket needed for the day unless you want to enter prior to 4pm).
Our MNSSHP day goes like this:
--Hit a park early in the morning (9ish)
--Eat lunch at that park or back at POP (depending on what we are craving) around noon to 1
-- Get in our costumes and head to the MK bus stop a little before 3pm
--enter MK at 4pm and meet any regular day characters we want to see while in costume, maybe ride a couple of rides (definitely Buzz since we are getting Photopass+)
-- grab a quick bite to eat at Cosmic Rays around 5:15
--hit the restrooms and then get in line for our top priority party character by 6pm. This gets us out of the first line by 7:20 at the latest.
The rest of the night depends on who we want to meet. We usually see part of the villains show and hit a dance party at some point. We watch Hallowishes from a table outside of the Plaza restaurant, and then we head immediately to Frontierland to grab spots for the second parade. Musch less crowded for the second parade, expecially back there. We trick or treat whenever we see a station. Even if the ToT lines look long, they move very fast. We stay until the very end, and if it is cool out, we grab hot chocolate to drink while we wait for the bus back to POP. When we get back, we eat some of the candy and finally crash around 2 am.![]()
Wow, my plan is hit MK in the morn, chef Mickey's at 6:20 for dinner, change into costumes then back to the park but I may be changing those plans now. Thanks smitch!
Your welcome, and I would definitely change that ADR.![]()
Well...you have been a bit occupied with this thread.Did you see my costumes? I am so happy that I get to wear jeans this year. The last two years I've worn spandex leggings. Do you know how hard it is to sit for a parade in spandex leggings?!?! (please say no)

There's a special shirt that I only wear once a year. I wear it on the last day of my Disney vacation, no matter if I'm attending a party or not. It's a tradition I started and continue to carry on.
That's an awesome shirt.
The artwork covers the entire shirt front and back. It's an Art of Disney shirt.
Great shirt!
I also wanted to say thanks for the heads up about the free dininig. I just worked my way through madness from Thursday until now. I'm still not sure what we're doing, but I'm glad for the advance notice. We can get our resort of choice, but not room type and it does mean switching to Thanksgiving week which I would assume would be more crowded than the week after (although with the lack of availabilty for RO discounts that week, I'm wondering). Anyway, I certainly appreciate your advance leak.![]()
Ah the eternal question.... We are foodies, so we have double credit meals almost every day. We will also use a few TS credits for QS.
Being you could easily spend 200.00 at Narcossees or Cindy's we find it not only convenient but a pretty good deal.
Its definitely alot of food, we always have snack credits left over. But we stop and buy candy at Epcot and rice krispie treats for the drive home.
We also usually do room service one night , which the kids love.(2 credits)
I think its worth it , if you use the credits at the signature dining places. We are actually waiting for California grill to reopen . Hopefully before our trip so we can eat there too!
There is no doubt its more convenient and you do not have to worry about what the cost of your meal it. Lobster and steak every night ! Now thats my idea of a vacation!
I actually check in 10/2, and asked thus question. The CM told me I could check in as late as 11:00 am on 10/3 to keep reservation and free dining.
Tonight I realized that I still hadn't gotten an e-mail confirmation for my change, PLUS my new resort was showing up in MDE but "free dining" wasn't. I called Disney again.
It turns out that the person I talked to Thursday morning, who had a heavy accent, apparently had just as much trouble understanding me as I did understanding her. My e-mail address has my name, Rivka, in it. She entered it as liveka. Okay, I know that "live" and "riv-" rhyme, but I spelled it for her!
The CM I talked to tonight was super nice. She is re-sending my confirmation, and she assured me that even if I can't see it in MDE I definitely have free dining. Hope that's reassuring to other people who aren't seeing it show up in MDE!
Each pic on a ride is like 20-30 dollars, so basically your paying for 5 ride / character pics upfront, and getting all the other shots free. We got like 10 different shots from SPM and SPM alone , never mind Everest...
Magic shots are worth the price alone, be sure to ask for them!

Before this hits 250 and the group dissolves....what do you all think of touring plans and the lines app associated w/it? Is it worth it to pay the $11.95 yearly fee, or is free stuff good enough?
