How will you handle your ADR's? We booked AoA in February and my TA put a hold on POP for us yesterday. If we end up going with what she has on hold then what do I do about my ADR's?

I'm a newbie to booking a Disney vacation but I think you can just re-link them to the new reservation. Is that correct guys?

I GOT POR AB for my dates!!!!! I just called in and spoke with CM Bradford, who said, "looks like there's some Disney magic happening, I have a room for you!" I could tell he was so happy to finally give someone good news, after saying no to everyone the past couple days! He said he's only seen those rooms pop up since yesterday!
I'm soooooo excited! Yippeee!
I hope there are some more rooms out there...don't know if they were cancellation rooms or more placed out there for FD but GET ON THE PHONE MY FELLOW FAMILIES OF 5!

I called this afternoon to cancel my original reservation - no FD attached to it. I was on hold for about 20 minutes, but it took the poor CM just as long to cancel my reservation. The computer wasn't letting her do it, so she had to call IT and go around the system some how.

She said today hasn't been as bad as yesterday, but she felt bad for all the people who had to wait so long on hold, only to get through and find out no FD for them. She told me I did the smart thing and booked online yesterday and was very happy for me that I got FD.

I've never had to cancel a reservation before, do they send you confirmation of the
cancellation? I want to make sure the right one got cancelled, since there was some difficulty bringing it up and I had my deposit transferred to my FD reservation. On MDE, it shows both of my ressies, will the cancelled one eventually disappear?

DH and I talked last night and decided we wanted to get away, just the 2 of us, to see the holidays. Emailed TA last night and she got us POR with FD for 5 nights! Just got the confirmation! Oct and Dec trips with FD - here we come!!

I think so. I made my ADRs before I had a resort reservation and FD. I had to link the ADRs manually in MDE and they are all there now. Took a few minutes.

I just looked back on my reservation invoice, and it is a standard room.

I'd still keep trying. They had 3 RR's pop up for me yesterday. That wouldn't really make too much sense for us though so I held out for AB.

I just received mine as well and it says

I was wondering what the RDV meant as well. Mine doesn't say free dine due to upgrading from QSDP to DP.

I hope someone can answer our question.

I have to ask, I booked a ro on 11/10 at pofq garden view and got a 20% discount. I know people wanted fd there but I haven't seen a 20% discount there at all, it's always been 5%. So why did so many people bale out of porq? Was it just because of the fd.
