Speaking of torturing the 13 year old......Tonight I told my kids I would take them through the Dairy Queen drive thru for ice cream. Much to DSs dismay, DD, DS(11) and myself were belting out the lines and lyrics from the Teen Beach Movie as he rode covering his ears... Good thing Oprah is off the air so he can't get on there and discuss the cruel life he lives Love that movie!

You know he secretly loooooves it.
My favorite thing to do to the boys is to roll down the window and yell "Mommy loves you!" as they are walking into school. And before anyone reports me to CPS, I make sure I know the kids who are standing around so the boys are just a little embarrassed. Funny thing is, now the other kids yell back, "Don't you love me too?"

Just got a pin for spring free dining and also for room only for a lot of dates for the year! Woot! I booked at CSR in January, just after MLK day. Do you think it might be warm enough to swim?

It's possible. Weather could be warm enough, but water temp will probably still be a little chilly. When I was in college many many years ago, my roommates & I went to Daytona Beach in February. I thought it was hilarious to be writing a letter home (to northern Virginia) while soaking up on the sun on the beach at that time of year. For some strange reason, my family didn't think it quite so funny - something to do with freezing temperatures and being covered in snow ... go figure, huh?

Love it! Oh I am so stealing that one. I can remember back to my childhood when my mom drove some incredibly long Lincoln town car that was bright yellow. My friends and I called it the "mobile" with an emphasis on the "e" and demanded to be dropped off at the corner of our middle school. Lol

Hey everyone!

It just now dawned on me that I set up all of my families FP exactly the same. For example, all 5 of us for Space Mountain when I am pretty sure that DD (7) isn't going to be interested. On the reverse, DS (13) at Enchanted Tales with Belle.... Although that might be hilarious to watch.... It is fun torturing the 13 year old....

yes, we are split up for a number of FP+ as my 2 year old niece won't be going on a lot of the headliners. My sister is taking my kids on Space Mtn while I take hers to ETWB. With 4 kids from 2-16, I really like FP+. don't have to go to 2 attractions to get paper FP, and then go back to ride the attraction; just go straight to your FP+ attraction.

we had planned to use the monorail to get to CM on the 20th. people suggested it's a 10 min walk. Not 10 minutes with a just turning 3 year old. We have an ADR at 1900PF on the 23rd too.

it does stink for those staying at the monorail resorts and paying a lot of money for that convenience.

The rumor is it will be back online the 19th. The construction at GF is causing it. The TTC will still run express to MK and Epcot.

More launches and buses are being added. Poor people there were notified by a letter under their door ...

Since Animal kingdom doesn't open till 9, when do busses start running there? I know they start running at 6:30 am, but how soon will they take you before they open?

If I go to the actual BOG/Fastpass site my reservation and my meal order shows right up but it's not on my MDE list of reservations/FP+ times.

They will let you in with your ADR. We love doing this, the park is totally empty, great pics!

I read that the resort monorail will be closed between 11a and 6p. So hopefully the busier times will have service!

Lol That's great!! I'm at the point with my daughter that she won't give ne a kiss in front of her friends. So she gives me a kiss before we reach the drop off zone. My son doesn't care...he's not embarrassed to kiss mom yet.

The Grand Floridian is having some kind of contruction. I think its from 10/6 until about the 20th. They said 2 weeks.
