So excited for all of you who are so close now. We are still at 81 days.

A couple of questions. Will they ship MB's to Australia? How many days out do they usually send luggage tags etc? How have I become so obsessed about 1 holiday ?

Looking forward to the words of wisdom from the DIS'ers.

Caz

:thumbsup2

I'm fairly confident they will NOT ship MB's out of the country so they will be waiting for you at check in.

Unsure about luggage tags

Obsessed? Can't help you there either, I think we ALL have that problem! Lol!

Oh, btw, what are your thoughts about that. I'm trying to figure out what we can eat that will take the least amt of time away from rides and Christmas Party stuff. It's our first. Nov 21st....

We're going the 21st too! We were just going to do a quick counter service meal but now have decided to do a 4:45 at 1900 park fare. There are limited options at MK. Buffets/table service work best as our 2 year old can get whatever she wants (for free) and we are having Crystal Palace for breakfast. Doing Liberty Tree Tavern earlier in the trip. And was also thinking that if people coming just for the party get in at 4 and other people don't leave until 7, that will be the busiest time. So we will ride the monorail to GF, look around there a bit (hopefully see their Christmas displays), eat, jump back on the monorail and be back around 6:30ish. Thinking the early dinner will be ok since we'll be eating cookies all night!

Should also add that's our last full day there, and will be spending all day at MK. We will mostly be focusing on non-ride activities at the party since we will hopefully have done all we wanted by then!
Kind of killing three birds with 1900 Park - seeing GF, daughter gets to see her Cinderella characters, and dinner.
But this just added another problem. Now I feel the need to get DD a Cinderella dress!

Lol! I'm there too, :-). Have Cinderella dresses and accessories for both girls. We are going to bbb on the 17th then 1900 park fare that night for dinner (getting kicked out of magic kingdom @7 for Christmas party that night). We made BOG FP lunch res for the 21st early (10:50). Figured that would be our sit down meal that day. We are still napping so we will head back to pop for a nap. I guess I'm trying to decide between the "to go sandwiches" and such for the party or quick service. I'm leaning towards a sandwich or something from those windows in fantasy land. Even quick service takes a while and I'm worried we might miss something...

I can't wait until she's old enough for BBB! Considering she won't even let me brush her hair some days even when she is 3 she might not e ready.
I have a Sofia dress already that we will bring, but looking at pictures of 1900 makes me want her to have a Cinderella too!

I'm sure Sofia will be sooo cute on her, :-). I'm a southern girl so I have my cousin making the girls Christmas outfits for the party (I know..) with ruffle bottom pants and embroidered mickey with Santa hats on the shirts. I just can't help it, lol! I hope we run into each other, it will be nice when all the obsessing is over (who am I kidding?! the obsessing won't stop).

Hey Black, or anyone that's been recently, can you tell me where Gaston's Tavern is located? If its behind the gates to Belle's castle, maybe asking to eat there will get people near/in the castle? I didn't even realize it existed...

It is separate from the castle area. It is near his fountain, deep into the New Fantasyland area.

Thanks Smitch. Was it there in January? I don't remember seeing it. What is next to it? I've tried to find a map of it but they all just say Fantasyland.

Yes, it was there. It is past the entrance to BOG, but before you get to the new BatB restrooms. If you are facing Gaston's fountain, the tavern is right behind it. :goodvibes

Here is a map. BOG is T and Gaston's is U...

I have been looking for Christmas outfits for the kids to wear to the party! Have seen some cute things on zulily but nothing that is quite right yet. Might have to find time to make something.

Try Lolly Wolly Doodle on Facebook or even Etsy. They both have cute hand made stuff. I can't sew at all. Wish I could.

Thank you for the response, I was looking forward to getting those tags before we go. Oh well. Whereabouts are you staying. We have 2 rooms at Pop from Dec 12 - 19. We are starting to get excited now, the countdown is def moving quickly. At least I know we will be able to customise the MB's. Are you doing MVMCP? That will be our first day at MK on the 12th. We are doing Universal 9th and 10th, and Kennedy on 11th, then we head over to see The Mouse. So excited. First trip to WDW for all of us.

pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

We are doing a split stay because of the free dining promo, arriving 9th Dec, staying POFQ until 12th Dec then moving over to WL until 17th Dec, only one room for us as only 4 of us. We are going outlet shopping the first day, also to help get over the jet lag, as it is a 12 hr time difference, so don't feel like we have to rush for rides etc. Then Epcot the 11th for CP, then MK and MVMCP the 12th, doing Kennedy 14th. We did Universal last time, only one day to do HP, so not going back again this time.

It didn't bother us not having the luggage tags as we didn't arrive at MCO early enough in the evening anyway to have the luggage automatically collected and delivered to our room. So we just collected it ourselves and took it with us to the ME, no biggy, mind you after travelling for over 30 hrs I might think a bit differently.

Glad to see more Aussies making the longer journey, you won't be disappointed.

Yay and congrats to all who got MBs and BOG FP+!!!

First 13 hour leg of trip complete! Hoping to be in Disney World in 6 hours! Hope there are still some Vera Mickey bags left, lol.
