Cool! I was trying mine on yesterday afternoon trying to figure out if I needed to cut any of the band off like a few have. DH was like, what are you doing? I was walking around the house with it on swinging my arm around, holding it up like I was having it scanned I think he thought I had lost it

I think I can do ok with the one tab in the pink hole and one in the grey hole. It is a tad bulky with so much excess but I'm not ready to commit to cutting it. We're going to have a pair of scissors in our "box" we ship down. So if it gets to annoying me I'll just cut it while I'm down there.

You are funny! I showed mine to my 13yo and DH and they are nowhere near as excited as I am. Lol. I guess it's good that other members of my family dont think about Disney 24/7.

Ok, so while on my hunt for the Elusive BOG dinner ressie ( 11/11 or 11/15), I happened to notice that almost all the sit down's at MK have zero availability for dinner.

I am wondering how the seasoned DIS vets feel about this?

The week of 11/9 to 11/18 is historically low to medium crowds. But i seems odd to me that all the dinner times are taken this far out?

Am I wrong? Is it normal to have no availability at MK 45 days out ( even at Crystal Palace)?

I guess I might as well ask which quick service you'all like most. We usually do Peco's Bills if we cant get a sit down...

I got a letter from Disney today. I figured it was the "no refrigerator" letter. It wasn't....phew. it was a photopass letter regarding the 45 day expiration on your pictures.

That's exciting you're so close! I'm trying to get things done up at work, even though I still have 3 weeks. I've been reminding everyone for weeks that we need to get things rolling & done, that I'm going to be gone the end of October. But they've all dragged tail on getting stuff in place so now I'm having to rush now. (I do a lot of budget/financial things) it's going to be a mad dash that last week I'm sure.

Crowds a couple weeks ago were so low, I was able to book a ressie less than 24 hours out and change another's time as well. Crowds will be starting to pick back up at your time but still are normally lite. Interesting if MK is indeed booked. Did you call just to make sure it isn't a fluke with the online system?

I know, it's amazing to me. I've been trying 180+ days to get BOG, CRT, modify my Ohana ressie. I'm thinking it's going to be super-crowded or people booked several times of same restaurant and will start canceling soon!

So today is my Birthday I decide I am going to call Disney and see if I have any pins attached to my name. I know the last pin codes just expired but I thought maybe I could get some pixie dust if there was an old one there. Well there was nothing under my name or my husbands of course But as I am saying Thank you for your time blah blah blah she tells me that "Tinkerbell just told me that you will have a great Birthday surprise, so check your e-mail today!" We are staying at AOA which of course isn't included in the free dining offer but I am still holding out hope to somehow get it And now my Birthday is going to be spent checking my e-mail until something from Disney Destinations shows up! Any gueses as to what it might be? I really am hoping it is a FD pin but that seems a little to good to be true![/QUOTE

I have had an awesome day!! I posted the above quote way back on August 15th. Needless to say I never heard from Disney well I wrote them a note to say that I was really disappointed but still heard nothing from them. Let me clarify this was not a mean note or a complaining note just an FYI kind of note. So I let it go and went about my life. Well I decided I would write Disney one more time just before the Free dining offer expired. So this was last week sometime. I wrote them a funny note about my Quest to get free dining! It was very tongue-in-cheek about all the ridiculous time I have spent reading about and signing up for different Disney stuff to try and get a pin code for free dining, watching these boards for the rumored dates it would be released then the silly emotional rollercoaster over AOA being completely left out of the free dining! Well I had given up this last Friday and wrote my TA to go ahead and charge my credit card. I received an e-mail this morning with my receipt for my vacation and was feeling excited to finally know we are going to Disney! Well about an hour later I got a call from my TA. She is calling to tell my that she just talked to a lady at Disney that read my e-mail and wanted to offer us FREE DINING!!! She tells me that Disney will be calling to talk to me so watch the phone. Well not long after that call Emily from Walt Disney World calls me! She was so nice and kept apologizing for not hearing back from them after the first e-mail, and I kept telling her thank you and I really was never upset just a little obsessive Well she says she was able to get us free dining by using an older code that included AOA! So I'm not sure if it was my silly note or what but I am going to Disney with Free Dining!! This has been such a rollercoaster ride of emotions!

Ya , i thought maybe it was a computer glitch , but alas no. ( I called). I do not think its people with multiple ressies. I think its going to be unprecedented crowds.

For the past 4 years we have gone this week, and each year it has become more and more popular. FD is definitely increasing attendance, and the fact that most crowd calendars recommend this week is also increasing visits.

Its still not TG week, Christmas or summer level crowds, but my guess is that crowd levels will be very much increased.

The only puzzle piece that does not fit is the fact that all MVMCP are not sold out.

It really isn't a huge deal since any day on SpM or HM is better than being under fluorescent lights at work. Those.lights sap your soul.

YAY for you! The same thing happened to me when I emailed Disney about being disappointed because my room type didn't qualify for free dining. Got a call offering it to me. Such an exciting call.

MVMCP? MNSSHP is scheduled 4 of the 6 nights we will be at the parks, would seem like that takes a lot of ADRs out of the mix.
