Week after Labor Day is a good week, if you can stand the heat. The crowds are low to non-existent. We went a few years ago, and walked onto Buzz Lightyear 5 times! But geez it was hot! And the remnants of a hurricane was coming through, we were almost flooded out at AK, I thought my DS was going to float away!

Oh wow!! We've been first week in Dec. & Feb i thought it would be low crowds but was surprised at how crowded it actually was. Guess it depends on deals too..got FD so that probably had something to do wit it.

I would think that would be a relatively low crowd week. I bet as time draws closer you will see stuff opening up. Lord knows, I have cancelled and rebooked my ressies a million times...

We were there Oct 14-20 last year & it was warm, but not hot like mid August. I would say comfortable.

October weather is usually perfect. Warm and sunny. Shorts during the day, maybe a light sweater in the evening and possibly capri's or jeans if you're cold natured as I am.

We go the first week in nov usually and last year we had 4 really hot pool days

Nope...I was there for spring break last year.....NEVER again. I was watching the weather last year in October and it looks like 80's during the day and 60's at night. We'll be down there the same time as you though. 10/26-11/2 and the MNSSHP on the 27th

This was how it was when we were there in oct a few years ago. Very nice!

I think we picked a good week and iv already started packing. Went out and bought the coffee pods for the coffee maker just in case our room is a little further away.
