I just received an e-mail from my Disney Visa. The dates for the free dining plan are 08/24/08 - 09/20/08.

I am a cardholder, but I don't think I received the email, plus I already have a trip booked starting Sept. 20 so I'm not sure if it will even apply to me. Does anybody know that answer to any of those questions?

You should definitely give them a call back and see if you can add it to your ressie. I think I've read on here where people are getting the free dining for the length of their stay even though they aren't arriving until the 20th.

I just re-read my reply to you and noticed an error.....I said "add it to your ressie". I don't think they let you do that. You might have to cancel and re-book it with the free dining added. This is just what I've picked up on the boards. I'm certainly no authority on the subject. Good luck to you and I hope you get the free dining! Can anyone confirm this info is accurate??

No worries...I didn't have a chance to call tonight anyway. I'm going to call tomorrow. Do you think if I have to cancel and rebook with free dining we will lose our ADRs we already have set up?

I had a MYW package reserved already and did not have to cancel it. The CM added dining and the free dining code, and I still have the same reservation number.

And no, your dining reservations are not tied to your room reservations, so no worries even if you have to rebook.
