Free dining is back monday 20th for 2013

This is fab news! Does anyone know what the policy is on moving dates? We might have to move this oct trip back to next year, i was worried that if there was no free dining next year, we would really lose out.......

Complete orlando have it advertised on their facebook page today

Just checked Complete Orlando and OKW is not showing For August 2013 :confused3:

On their facebook page it says will be loaded ono website in couple of hours and discount for okw/ssr are back too

Don't know what is going on with CO, OKW not available for dates I checked and other hotels more expensive than Disney direct.

I checked the same 21 nights we did this year to compare price.
This year cost us £3,285 (CO)
Next year's quote with Disney £4,083.90 less $100 gift card less 3% Quidco = £3,897.69

£612.69 more

On their facebook page it says will be loaded ono website in couple of hours and discount for okw/ssr are back too

Thought they would have been ready for it. Will check again later.

On their now but i dont think they can book okw/ssr till around 11 months out now

I just got quote for four of us as girls will be four on return staying at pofq with qsdp for 2395 with tickets

Anyone know f I use the JUL1 code on disney site if I would still get the 3% Quidco money back?

Always a risk using a code thats not on Quidco's site but usually they go thru OK, can't think I have tried with Disney.

Will the discount on ssr run until dec 3rd too if they have the rooms, I couldn't see an end date for that offer?

Sorry I clicked post before I had finished, nothing specific to the OKW/SSR deal but I would expect it to cover the latest deals upto that date.

Yay this is such good news!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I really want to go ahead and book but think I should try figure out how much of a cost difference it is with tipping etc. rather than staying/dining off site.

I have never done the DDP before, would you say it was worth the extra $?

Our first year (2009) we paid £80/nt at OKW with free DDP, it was fantastic value.
This year with Disney the cost was about £132 I wasn't willing to pay but I went with Complete Orlando who charged £118/nt.
The latest offer on Disney for next year works out at £147/nt, to me not worth it. We enjoy somewhere like Fairfield Inn, Courtyard by Marriott etc with offsite dining just as much. Room & food offsite costs us about £100/nt plus we only pay half the cost in tips offsite as food is half the cost of Disney.

The difference for us for 21 nights is over £1,000 extra to stay onsite with free DDP, that almost pays for the flights for next Easter.

I am sure many will still pay it, it is still a great deal if you feel onsite is better than offsite, we don't so to us not worth the premium Disney are wanting.

Yay! So glad about this!

But now im stuck!
I Love CSR and was going to book 28 sep to 10 oct 2013 with 21day park tickets and upgrade to DDP
I had a look and OKW is only £50 more for the whole stay.

As i say i had my heart set on going back to CSR but surely OKW and SSR are even better?! What to do!!!

We're stuck too!We said we'd stay at CSR next trip because we love the look of it but now the deal is out SSR works out cheaper.

i ve been looking and cant see anything about the 40% off- any ideas??? just looking wether its worth paying the SSR rate of £5.5k to get free dining, as my kids love eating on site, and i wont get away with not taking them, or wether its better to go off site and "swallow" the cost of dining... kids are now all "adults" and eat like horses pmsl!! anyone worked out a spread sheet for the for/against, or am i the only mad one considering doing this????

I think whatever rate they show for SSR/OKW is the discounted rate, rather than it being heavily advertised?

:goodvibes

I it is because ATM it as £200 more than CRS for the dates I'm interested where as previously when I have looked it's been a lot more.

what sites are u using to check prices guy??

i have just done the calculations for us, 5 pax, 2 adults and 3 kids 10-15...

counting an average of $200 per TS and average of $100 per CS ( prices come from CM WCC and WPE and Y&Y) $4 for snacks .... parking costs, tickets costs and 2 weeks in a villa (4 bed with pool) it comes back at £5730 the SSR offer for a 2 bed villa (with free ddp is £5529

this is off course not taking into account that you wont use all ur cs meals (we were left with 10 at the end of last stay and 40 odd snacks which we used for souvenirs for kids)... we took water into park and refilled bottles at water fountains rather than "waste" them on bottled drinks - that said we didnt deprive ourselves of food or drinks but it is alot of food... obviously tips = about 15$ per meal, we had a few meals were we left more, and 2 meals were we left nothing *** food and service was bad (chefs de france and LTT). but too each their own..

of course you d pay less for cs eating at taco bell mcds etc, and ts at sweet tomatoes etc...

thought this might help
