I wish I could, since DH's b-day is in Dec, but since we're going in August and our AP's expire in Sept, I can't see us going back for Dec. I'd even be willing to try the quick service dining since that's the one included in the deal for values. So, is anyone goign to jump on this deal? Do you think it will go to the general public after visa holders?

Wow, they are offering it to Visa holders, huh? We got a pin code early last month and were able to book a value with the original dinning plan. We cancelled our October free dinning trip in order to see the parks at Christmas. We are so excited, hope this works out for lots of our fellow Disers.:thumbsup2

How did you find out? I have a Disney VISA and haven't heard anything...email or otherwise...:confused3

We are! We have always wanted to go in December to see the decorations. We are very excited! Staying at POFQ. Got great deal on airline tickets, free dining...can't beat it! Now, if only my 5x disney dollar rewards would kick in!

No, I do not think this will be a general public offer. They had no problem filling the resort last year with the Disney Visa FD offer, so I don't think they will this year either. December was WAY more busy than when we had previously been there.

We're going! I just booked Pop Century today for December. We've never been to see the Christmas lights! We went in May, but I couldn't pass up the deal as this is probably the last time we'll be able to fit in a value. Well we don't really fit, but we can make do :rotfl:

We have DVC reservations at Wilderness Lodge in December but we may add a few nights at POP prior since we don't have airfare yet.

My e-mail said it was going to be open to the general public 7/27.

I got the free dining pin for the DDP and am booked from 12/1 - 12/6.

I'm not sure if it will go out to the General Public or not. When I booked all I could get in the values for a standard room was at ASMu. There was nothing at Pop or Sports and only preferred rooms available at ASMo.

We do not have the Disney Visa and were offered the free dining code in Decmeber through a pin. We are going Nov. 29-Dec.6th.

I originally posted this on another thread. But it applies here as well:

I have been receiving email offers from Disney for years. Was part of the Disney club before it was replaced with the Disney Visa program. Then I was a "Day One" cardmember with Disney Visa. Anyway... here is my email that I used to book a December vacation. I blocked out the PIN as I think that is only good for me. I believe you can sign up to receive special email offers direct from the Disney website.

BTW: When I booked my room, agent told (and quoted) me free dining was available throughout Disney ... not just the "Value" properties as the email says.

DISNEY EMAIL I RECEIVED:

We are. :wave2:
We were lucky enough to receive the Free Dining PIN a few weeks ago.
We canceled our Sept trip and booked 10 days at POP for our first holiday:santa: stay at the World with free dining.
4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids) - staying 10 days at at POP with 10 day park hopper tickets and dining for under $2000.
:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We already had a trip booked for 11/28-12/6 with dining, so I was super excited to see the Disney Visa notice today! I called and added the discount code, which knocked somewhere around $500 (not sure of the exact math) off the total price.:banana::banana:

This is interesting, the PIN code was for regular Free Dining even at the Values. Does anyone else feel like Disney is trying to build some sort of caste system?
