Free Dining in December again?

I am praying that they offer FD again in December, because that is when I prefer to go. Right now my trip is booked 9/25-10/1 with free dining and I am excited since it will be my Birthday 9/26, But my DH wants to go 11/27-12/3. Since Free dining has pretty much been offered all year what are the chances they will extend that through December?

That's the million dollar question that everyone is awaiting an answer for . . . .

I do know that the first week of December, was blacked out for the free dining code. The resorts were packed and I guess they didn't need the fd code to fill those rooms. Everyone's wondering if that will happen again this year too . . . .

Nobody knows for sure.

No reason to speculate until it is announced.

Disney seems to be releasing their discounts slower and releasing less of them. I think this year they will dip their top in the water for as long as they can wait and see how it goes.

This year, they ADDED preferred rooms to the resorts, because they know they can charge for it and people will pay it.

I am one of those people who hopes they don't. That is my week, since 2000, and last year, with the monster pin code and free dining - it was the busiest I have ever seen it for that week. I would love to see it go back to the way it was and drop free dining and just offer some various smaller room discounts.

There are new FD pincodes out there that are surfacing right now, but I haven't heard anyone say they have one for December yet. Right now, it's been for the summer months. I think this year Disney will wait until it's closer to those months and you won't get as much notice for it if they do a general public code. For what it's worth I called to check myself for a FD pincode when that was announced here and the CM I talked to said that the FD offer will include December up to the 22nd with a pincode.

There are some rumors that a new offer is coming in March. What it is who knows. It would make sense that the fall and winter months would be included in a new offer since we are getting into the 180 day window for restaurant reservations for December.
