Hopefully it will pan out tomorrow but I am in need of advice. I want to switch my existing reservation to take advantage of the free dining . We live in Nova Scotia and I was wondering when I can call WDW ressie line? Can I call after midnight because technically it would be May 3rd? We have all of our dining reservations made for the trip in August. Will I have to cancel these or will Disney transfer them? I am so super excited and saving a few extra $$$ would make it that much sweeter. Thanks Disers!

Good question about the phoning after midnight! Check if Disney's ressie line is even open. If they are -then maybe you can, but I really don't know...

Otherwise it's 7am EST.

As for the dining reservations - no, they do not have to get cancelled. But I'm not sure what gets done.

My TA will be applying the FD to our trip so I'm not worried about the rest.

Honestly, the best place to get answers to these questions is the "Disney Discount Code & Rates" under the "DIsney Resort" forum. Here's a link to take you there.

I would suggest re-posting this there.

If I remember correctly the ressie line closes at 10pm and opens at 7am.

There are a few thoughts over on the rates & codes board that POP will sellout before the deal opens up tomorrow. If you are at any resort other that POP I really wouldn't worry too much. Last year it opened up at the begining of April and I booked 3rd week in June for an August stay. I got exactly what I wanted including all my ADR's.

Last year ADR's could be made at 90 days, this year it's 180. For our September trip, we made our ADR's at 180 days which was March 22 so hopefully there will still be lots of ressies left.

I am going in August...booked some ADR's yesterday and got everything I wanted including O'Hana which is always elusive!!!

I just went through random dates online..there's lots of choice to take advantage of the FD promo!!:thumbsup2

Yay! I got Port Orleans French Quarter with free dining! Woohoo and we are only 107 days away.;)

Hey guys, I have a bit of a dilemma....I think...

Right now, I have a room-only and am eligible for QSDP FD if I upgrade to a package.

The dilemma is...I'm now eligible for the 30% discount for my POP room. But if I want FD, I can't take that discount and also need to buy 2 day tickets. Those two day tickets will cost about $400 extra for the two of us.

I've convinced myself that I can use those tickets on another trip, because I already bought mine from Undercover, but the money is still coming from my trip fund. I saved up $250 for food for my trip, so it would seem worth it. But in the end, it's the almost same amount I'll be paying anyways, except I get 2 more tickets?

I think my dilemma is I'm not so sure if I should make the investment. I doubt I'll be using up all my QS credits. I also want to know if I can use my snack credits for candy in World Showcase countries, because the extra money I will be paying will be dipping into my souvenir funds.

What do y'all think?

This is actually a pretty big decision for me cause I didn't plan on getting free dining, even when I knew it would most likely come out for my trip. I need to make up my mind fast so I can change my ressie asap.

EDIT: Solved my problem. Decided not to go with FD after all.

Can you use the tickets you have and combine them with the new tickets to get an Annual Pass ... that way your extra $200 turns into 365 days of access!

I don't know if I can do that Ted. My next trip is in 2013 so....I don't think an AP would be good for now.

Your right ... its only good if you planned a second trip within a year of the first day of your trip. Was worth a try!

So excited:cool1::cool1:

Just booked the pirate theme room for myself, DH and grandson in Sept.

With free dining of course:thumbsup2
