Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

VERY suprised they included so much of August this year!
While August is a popular vacation time because the kids are out of school (although some school boards now require children to start the term much earlier than the traditional Labor Day Weekend), and September has become popular recently (largely because of free dining and F&W), the reality is that Florida weather these 2 months can be terrible. If it isn't the heat and humidity, it is the lashing rain storms. This is hurricane season after all. I recall that last year, many people who went in September complained about the never ending rain. While some can definitely suck it up, trudge on and enjoy fewer lines in the rain, others have small children who would be miserable. I personally prefer the end of October and early November because the weather is generally much better. Different strokes. I also realize some people are very limited in their vacation time and when they can take the kids out of school . . . so they may not have as much choice.

Can anybody provide a translation of viajeromagico's post? Just wondering if there's more information on the included and excluded resorts on his site.

August 15 - October 2
October 25 - 31
November 8 - 19
December 15 - 21

That date has always been included. Normally the first day or two of Nov has, too, but not this year.
Really, that surprises me. We've always left the Sunday/Monday of Jersey week....I'll never forget last year, you could not walk in POR Food Court that Monday morning

Just a thought - If August heat is too much, push back into later September. We were there starting September 20th last year for 10 nights and it was still melt-your-face-off hot most days. The evenings were cooler though.

We went Sept 9-16 last year and it was definitely HOT and HUMID, but luckily the rain we had was contained to very early in the morning, and late at night mostly. The only thing it put a damper on was the first night we went to MNSSHP, the parades and Hallowishes was delayed and the Villian show before Hallowishes was cancelled. BUT, it did make for even shorter lines at the rides and character meets.

Good to hear historically that Halloween has been included! I am so glad everyone here is so helpful with this, especially for being a newbie! If Visa drops tomorrow, then we're presuming Monday is public, as well if Visa is Monday, public is Friday? I am hoping it's not any other days, because I will be having a hard time with work and calling.

He also has a website that is showing a full article in spanish concerning free dining. Just thought somebody might be proficient enough to translate it for more info on the included and excluded resorts so we can all benefit from the rumor.

Our kids go back to school August 13th (yes, they start this coming year on a Thursday). I also prefer the end of October and early November, not only due to the weather but because our kids are out for fall break during that timeframe.

wow this tread blow up over night lol

I am hoping that the rumours are true and this next week the deals come out

No, visa cannot drop tomorrow! Lol

Do you have a link to the website? My son is home sick from school today. I can ask if he can take a look at it and translate which resorts are included.

I just checked his website and didnt see any articles relating to the free dining release. Just older ones speculating it.

If FD is announced on Monday as rumors speculate, how do I make a reservation? (I have a Disney Visa, but this will be my first time booking through the period)

Thanks for the help!!

I'm hoping not either, but I'm just hoping it sticks to a Friday or Monday when these release. Those are the only days I can pull off coming into work later. I would say I could make my boyfriend do it, but I don't think he can adjust our stuff, since it's all under my name.
