Free Dining dates for December

I know they haven't been announced yet, but what dates have they typically been for in December? Also, if your trip falls partially during the free dining period, will Disney allow for free dining during that portion of your trip that falls within the Free Dining dates?

As long as you CHECK IN during the free dining period it will extend through your whole stay.

If your check in date falls during the promotion window then you would receive free dining for your entire stay - even if your trip extends past the end of the window. It doesn't work the other way. If you check in before the promotion begins and some of your trip dates fall within the window then you would not be able to get it at all. It is based solely on your check in date.
