Free Dining-changes to reservation

Hi!
My family and I have a free dining resort reservation. The trip has been paid in full and the date to make any changes without charge has passed. Unfortunately 4 members of our family will either not be coming or arriving later than the first night. We do not want to cancel their portion of the reservation in hopes that they can attend part of the trip. They will use their tickets at a later date so this isn't an issue. Is this allowed?

We have left people on the reservation and there wasn't a problem. It might not work, though, if they are the lead names on the reservation.

if they have a separate room reservation, and the lead guest is not going to be there on first night, they NEED to contact disney to inform them of the delayed arrival.
You don't want disney to consider they forfeited their reservation and cancel their room ...

if you are all on the same reservation (2 bedroom villa for example) and the lead guest is arriving later than on the intended check in day, then you might not be able to check in.


If they can't make it for the trip, you can enjoy their dining credits, as long as you're in the same room
