Free dining bounce-back ?

Does anyone remember the dates that free dining was available to those who chose to bounce-back last Aug/Sept. I am trying to get a handle on possible dates if Disney decides to offer it again this fall. With the economy the way it is, I'm pretty sure that they will. I just noticed on the calendar that my sons don't go back to school until Sept 8, so the timing could work well this year. We took our first year off in 2008, and I am itching to get back.

I know the starting date was August 23rd but not sure how far into the Fall it went. I am banking on the same thing. That they will come out with Free Dining for that week since I already booked us to go and will change it if it comes out.

I don't have the flyer to give you the exact dates, but I know they started on August 23rd, and I've booked for that week prior to Labor Day (August 29 - September 6), so you should be okay booking for then and getting the free dining.

Thanks for the info. I am hoping for free dining to start Aug 23. I am hoping to check in on Aug 21, do a day at Universal, then re-check in on the 23rd, early, to begin the Disney portion of our trip. Hoping for 10 days, but I'm not booking airfare until free dining is official.

I believe the dates for the 2009 bounceback were 8/23-10/01.

The free dining bounceback dates for last year are August 23 - October 8. The October 2 - 8 dates were slightly higher because that is when the rate switch from value to regular season is.

We were able to book a Free Dining Bounce Back from 9/26/2009 - 10/10/2009.

With free dining, or the free dining bounceback, you can usually book up to 10 days past the last promotional day of the offer. So, some people were probably able to book the bounceback through October 16.
