Mostly we save them and apply them to our AP renewals. The hard part is remembering where you put them. I generally will write on them with a sharpie telling me what it is.
As long as the tickets are not used, they are valid indefinitely. Just don't put them in a turnstyle, and you can save them for another time. When you need to renew your AP, take the tickets to any guest relations window and tell them you want to upgrade the tickets to an AP renewal. If it has been some time since you bought the tickets, use them in a turnstyle before you upgrade them. This will ensure you get the current gate value for them, if ticket prices have gone up since you bought them. HTH.
