Free dining 2014

While it may be a bit painful, you could just book new ressi now and then you have control over the changes going forward - Dining, Fastpass+. Especially if you have to want to make changes if new openings arise.

I'm confused. I called Chase yesterday and they said Disney was "targeting select card holders" and she said if you didn't get the pin you'd have to wait for the general public, but I see people booking who didn't get the pin.

So do you need the pin or not? Can I call with out and book the promotion? I have the number (she gave me that but was not willing to tell me anything else other than Disney would send me a code if I could book the offer.) I booked my trip already and my dates qualify.

Does anyone know if I can just call without the pin?

I was able to book without any pin or code just with the VISA card

Since FD was excluded from POR we upgraded to WL for just $100 total. It is for the dates of Sept 8 - 13.

We did the same thing, but ended up saving about $50. Any little bit is great and now we are at a resort we normally wouldn't look at due to price!

Any chance they extend this to include additional dates (1st week of Dec) or do you all think this is it? We went 2 years ago this same week (Week after Thanksgiving) and it was offered. Bummer if it's not again.

I am not an expert by any means but the fact they announced late Oct, Nov and Dec dates this early would lead me to believe no new dates will be announced later. I booked the Sat after thanksgiving last year and had also hoped for FD then but no dice. I honestly wonder if it has tondo with there only being 4 weeks b/t Thanksgiving and Christmas since Thanksgiving is so late.

Yes, I was told the exact same thing last night, but we had absolutely no problem booking this morning. Btw - NO email from Chase Disney!

Just got off the phone with CM to get info on fall room only discount for Disney Visa card holders.
He told me room only discount only good through August??????
He could not tell me when fall dates will be available.

Hello. First time poster here. I got the email from Disney Visa stating that you have to book a 6 night/7 day package to get the FD plan. Everywhere else I have read said it was a minimum of a 3 night stay. Has anyone booked a package with FD with less than a 6 night stay? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes. I know you can definitely get FD with three day stay.

I already had a 5 night ressie starting on Oct 26. This morning my travel agent was able to add FD promo with no problem.

We are arriving November 10 and staying through November 19 at WL so if all is correct we will get Free Dining .... Yippee! Is there a place to see what the total discount is for 9 days of free dining? Or a per day discount and I can figure it out? We are going on our first adult only trip with the 2 of us.

Thanks in advance : )

We will also be there that week for our first adult only trip. Free Dining will just be icing on the cake!

I called Chase last night to verify if the offer was going to be for visa only or if visa debit would also be included in the FD offer. Chase said it was only for the visa credit card. I took my chances and Disney accepted the Disney visa debit card for the offer. I did have to pay $200 with my current card because I no longer could verify my original deposit made on my previous card thanks to the Target breach. Wanted to pass this along for anyone else in this situation.

I'm really looking forward to trying so new restaurants and going on and seeing some shows and rides they have always poo pood. Also the idea of wandering through the shops and seeing the holiday decorations will be fabulous. We are booked at WL but now I keep looking at the Beach Club and thinking we may like it better by Epcot. Oh what to do? With the free dining we may switch but giving it a week to think it over
Going to be a good time for sure : )

I recieved the email from Disney Chase Rewards and it mentioned a 6 night stay. I'm not quite ready to book yet but we are planning on 4 nights and our friends are planning on three nights so it sounds like from what other people are saying three nights is the minimum. I hope that is right!

DH insists on WL (it's my favorite too) but we will be visiting BC for the crab legs at Cape May Café.
