I have an AP, and booked free dining with the 2 day base ticket. Can I use the 2 day ticket for a future trip? How is this done with MDE?

You have to go to guest services and have them change the "priority" of your tickets so that the AP is 1st priority and used when you enter the park instead of the 2 day tickets.

You would be able to use the 2 day tickets for a future trip. They don't begin to expire until after you have used the 1st day. Then you have 14 days to use the remaining days before they expire.

I hung up after 2 hrs and called back 407 939 4357, said "New reservation" spoke to a wonderful CM after 5 min on hold.

Got POP preferred 10/27 - 11/1 and upgrade dining.

Me too! My phone battery died after being on hold for just over 2hrs. Finally got thru again after many busy signals & requested "New Reservation" (original call was "Modify Reservation") & was only on hold 5-10 min max before a CM picked up.

Thank you so much for this number! I got thru twice on a different number right at 7 am only to be disconnected both times. Have been trying constantly since then with no luck of getting connected.

Tried this number connected right away and got a CM by saying "new reservation" within 5 mins!! Switched from POR to ASSp with free dining for Sept 12 to 18 and only took another 10 mins!! CM was so nice and fast!

We were REALLY hoping for POR, but "settled" for CB. So excited for the trip in general, but less so for the resort. Anyone out there love CB? I'm noticing many more people chose POP, CSR or AoA. Looking for some reassurance. We are 2A, 2T and have only ever stayed at POFQ & POR. Thanks!!

Hi everyone, we are all booked!!! POP Century for 10 nights standard room

Was on hold for about a minute. I did take the time to input all my info through the automated system so I don't know if that helped at all.

I also wanted to point out to all the Families of 5 out there, like us. You can book a room discount only and add the dinning and it is not much more expensive than 2 rooms at Pop. Here's my numbers:

Right now we have Pop standard room from sept 11 to 21st with 9 day PH &WPM with free quick service. Total $4841.65

If we book POR with a room only discount here are those numbers:

Room and tickets only $3370.95
With Quick Service $4531.35 (cheaper than the free offer at POP!!!)
With Regular dinning $4968.35 (only about $100 more)

We also have a Disney adult that is 10.

I would change to POR in a second, but unfortunately it is more expensive for the other people we are traveling with since they are staying less time. Decisions decisions

I booked my trip with a Disney gift card. I've been on hold since 7 am and no one has picked up yet!! If I book a new reservation online, can a gift card payment be moved to the new reservation? We lost the gift card, so I don't have the numbers anymore.

We upgraded to WL because I wasnt feeling CBR excited to stay at WL though!!

We were big fans of POR and POFQ but had to switch to CBR for FD some years ago. After that first stay we were hooked. Ever since we cannot stay anywhere else. CBR is our favorite by far.

In order to move the payment from one package to a new one you will have to call.

10/25-11/2. Is courtyard view good? Never stayed there

Since my last stay they have changed the courtyard view. It used to be the view of the pool and waterfall area that you see in all of the pictures. Now it also includes what we had as a woods view the last time we stayed there, which was a view of the pool and courtyard of the Villas next door. I don't think there is a bad view at the WL. Almost like POFQ. Even if you have a view of the parking lot most of the landscaping is so mature that you do not really see anything but trees.

I love the WL because it is all enclosed so there is no running outside to get to the snack bar if it is pouring down rain. The game room is small. The cs place is small but if you avoid it at peak times it was not a problem. The tuna sandwich and the roast beef sandwich is excellent. The boat to MK is great and there is also a boat to the Fort and one to CR if you have dining reservations there. One morning we were heading to EPCOT and instead of taking the bus we took the boat to the CR and then the monorail to EPCOT. It was really nice to have a choice in transportation. The buses were never really crowded except when we left EPCOT. We shared a bus with the Fort but the Lodge was dropped off first. You are going to love Wilderness.

We have stayed at CBR and POR. LOVE, love, love POR. CBR was okay, not bad, and that's where we are going to stay again since POR isn't avail I'm hoping that the possible bed upgrades will be finished by then I had a dream we booked POP but in reality I booked a CBR Standard - hope I won't regret it....

Yay glad to hear! Just was not feeling CBR! I tried but couldnt. Our only other deluxe stay was Poly in 2010!!

Couldn't get Contemporary Tower (except for Club Level and up...YIKES! $$$) for 11/15-22, so had to do BLT. Checked other dates around original request since there is some flexibility, but nothing. And just to be clear, all types of rooms are still available at CR, just not with free dining.

Changed over a Pop Std res for 9/18-27, and got CR for early Sept in the tower w/MKV, all online. Still have not been able to get through on the phone!

What a relief that is done! Hope everyone gets (or got) what they wanted!

YAY!!!!!! I got exactly what i wanted!!! CBR 9/19-9/27, king room with free dining!!!!!! We've never been to a mod resort, and never had a king bed!!! CANT WAIT!!!! Thanks so much to everyone on this thread, including Black

We are there the same week, also CBR first timers. We are there 9/20-30.

We are currently in BCR CL for 9/20-9/27. Was thinking of changing to regular garden view room at BCR and adding free dining (don't want CL and DDP together). But, the website is showing now availability at BCR at all anymore. Hard to believe these places are selling out in the first 3 hours of it being released - during the slowest time of year. Doesn't make any sense. The offer is open until August but everything will be gone in the first 2 hours?? My TA has been on hold since 8 am. It took her an hour to even get through.

Is all of BCR really gone do you think???

Btw - When I look at my booking on My Disney Experience, I see the following:

"Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort-Standard View MYW Pkg + FREE Dining
2014 Table Service Meals - Adult, 2014 Table Service Meals - Child, 2014 Quick Service Meals"

My children are both 10+, so does anyone know what the "2014 Table Serivice Meals- Child" would refer to? Aren't 10yr old children considered adults as far as the DDP goes? Also - I don't see the Park Hopper option here that I pre-booked, but not too worried about that. I am concerned that my kids, or one, might be stuck with the child's meal plan though. I verified their ages (10 and 13). Any help/translation would be appreciated.

I want to know this too. I just took a good look at my ressie and it says the same thing as yours. I have an almost 14 yr old and almost 10 yr old. (booked as 14 and 10). They're going to be really disappointed if they're not on the adult DP.

Sorry, should have clarified, but really tired! If I book a new reservation online, can I call in a day or two when the chaos dies down and move the gift card over to the new reservation. Or would it be lost if I did that since I don't have the numbers any longer?

You'll find a really WIDE range of CBR opinions. I think a few questions need to be answered to understand how you'll like it.

Such as... Is bussing important to you? If so, CBR can be brutal. Lots of stops, lots of busses too full (during high attendance times).

Which building are you in? Some are far away and aren't as nice as others. We stayed in a room with large paint chips missing, cracks in the walls. We reported it, they didn't care and didn't move us.

Is the internet important? CBR has really terrible connection (including cell towers). We could not make calls from our room using cells. Had to go out into the middle of the Parking Lot. Had to go to local McDonalds to finish a project for work using the internet for a reliable signal that wouldn't drop.

What about the kids? They will love it! Our girls didn't mind any of the above (other than having to stand on the bus at midnight!).

Are you spending a lot of time at the resort? This is CBR's huge advantage. The pool is spectacular. The food court is really good. Lots of fun activities throughout the day. Absolutely breath taking scenery. It is an absolutely marvelous resort. If we were planning on a trip that didn't involve theme parks daily, we'd stay here again.

All of the value and Mods have pros and cons. In the end, the experience will be what YOU make of it!!!
