Why is it showing no availability for 3rd week of September at CSR on the website? I mean not a single room. Are they holding them back for the general release?
CSR is a convention resort so it may be booked. Here is a link to the convention schedule. If you do a google search several links come up and you will be able to tell what type of convention it is.

Awesome! Thanks! We love the DxDP and cannot imagine going without it. :cheer2:

No problem. We loved deluxe dining last time and now we are hooked! Tried planning without it and it didnt work. It was the same to pay out of pocket for some meals as it is to upgrade!

I have a party of 6. Two adults & 4 kids... none of which are really old enough to stay alone. We stayed in AOA Nemo Suite our last visit. Would it be cheaper with FD to stay at POP & get 2 rooms? I guess we would have to split up. What are our other options with FD or are there any?

Yes! We are a family of 5 and I just booked at pop for the first time for that reason. It is much cheaper than aoa and they will guarantee connecting rooms in situations like this. We also looked at the wilderness cabins which sleep 6 and would have the regular dining plan but decided against that. Oh, you could also do the all stars family suites perhaps.

Have a magical trip whatever you decide!:thumbsup2

MDE is not letting me book dining past 10/30. Is that because 10/31 is 181 days out? It goes by actual calendar days and not 180 from the day you check in? Real bummer since BOG has slots open beyond that and i can view but not book. Grrr. TIA

This is what we did as well. Significant savings over suite at any Disney resort, more so at AOA! Connecting rooms "guaranteed" is on my reservation email.

We are in this boat but our kids are older (17, 15, 11, and 8). We have always done 2 rooms at the value. It is the cheapest way to get us what we want. I have calculated every other possibility and it's the cheapest. It gives us the two bathrooms and the four beds. Now, I know that you will be told that an adjoining room is merely a request and not a guarantee but I just have a sneaking suspision that if you got there and didn't have that setup and had to have that setup, that Disney would somehow make it right for you. Just my opinion.

Dilemma - my POR quote was 2573 My AOA quote is 3960 Is this right? I think I'm calling back to confirm the breakdown. 2adults 3 kids 15,10,and 7 6 nights 6 day tickets no hopper Upgrade from QS to reg dining ? Should it be this much ? Aug 31- sept 6

That sounds right to me. We have 3 kids similar ages and our AoA quote is just over $6000 with upgrade to ddp. Our POR quote was around $3700. BIG difference for sure. We are going Xmas week.

I got the same price for AoA for you. POR without a dining plan is $2827.71

I am guessing you booked before the ticket and dining plan increase?

Yes ok thank you, what was the price for the room only at AOA? its just such an increase... maybe they will add POR back

Anyone know the extra per night for preferred rooms at CBR? I was looking at my quotes and $500 more just doesn't seem right for 8 nights?!

$25 per night.

You can book a dinner reservation without a hotel reservation I believe... They are not tied.

This makes sense to me given people who live nearby and/or stay off site may want to reserve a dinner ressie also.
