Has anybody been able to book FD for dates between Nov. 15-20?

I have November 13 - 22 @ CSR (Standard View Room)

I'm happy happy happy!!!

I kept getting the busy signal or all circuits busy for about an hour, then got thru, did the voice prompts and had settled in to hold for as long as it took and BAM! within 3 minutes I was talking to CM Olivia who was happy, helpful and made all my Disney Dreams come true!!!

Funny note: I asked for our dates Oct. 28 - Nov 3, and she said the free dining was only through Oct. 3, that the disboards had the wrong dates (haha). So I asked are there any dates available for free dining that include Nov 3 (my son's actual birthday) and she said 'oh I am so sorry, I was mistaken, the dates of Oct 26 thru Nov 1 are included' She was really sweet!! She was kind enough to explain a lot of the changes from when we were there 3 years ago and was just incredibly helpful. I thanked her for sounding so happy, and she said that just made her day!

When I told her we were thinking of doing a character breakfast on DS's birthday, she transferred us to Disney Dining and I made our res for Chef Mickey's.

So we will be at Pop Oct 28 - Nov 3, preferred room, 5 day park tickets, memory maker and FREE DINING!!

Thanks to all on here who let me know about this and have been such a valuable source of information and encouragement!!

Ugh!! That is what happened to me. They told me Oct. 3 was only check in date for Oct. I specifically said Oct. 26 and she said nothing past Oct. 3 period. I told her online people said they booked for Dec. Now I am on the phone trying to get Oct. 26 instead of Oct 3. Been on hold 42 min. Will be sold out by the time I get thru.

Nothing yet. Wanted POR. About to settle for AoA suite. But then kinda thinking maybe waiting for GP offer to see if POR is included since everyone is jumping ship.

GOT IT! We are headed to down to Pop 11/15 to 11/22.

that's what I was thinking , if we are planning on doing preferred might as well go all the way to cl! Still quite a bit cheaper than deluxe for my dates

While I', bummed that we won't have the xtra bed for our 2 year old, I am excited about Business Level -- I didn't even know it existed!

I went with AoA. I'm pretty excited even though we are doing QS. I didn't really want to be tied down to all those dinner reservations anyway! I will probably pay for one OOP.

Any dates or resorts sell out yet?

Someone posted that Both mods were sold out for Nov 20 to Nov 28. Those are our dates exactly and I was able to get our reservation for CSR earlier this morning. Hopefully the gen public offer will open more mod rooms up because my BF has not booked yet and she wants to stay at a mod for the same time.

We are staying at the Grand Floridian. Our oldest will be a senior and DH is worried this could be our last trip as a complete family.

I hope that the mass exodus opens up POR for the wonderful DISers on this thread!

Lol, I finally accepted that POR isn't included and got excited about AoA. I feel like if they add POR I will be on an emotional roller coaster!! Lol

My TA just let me know I got FD with CSR club level for nov 15-20!! So happy!! It took her all morning!

I just wanted to send a BIG Thank You to Black and all of the other helpful people on this thread... It's so good to have all of the plans set and be able to relax about that! Without this thread and all of the incredibly helpful early information, things could have gone very wrong for me and my family.

Best of luck, hope you get what you want. I don't believe that CL is as extensive at CSR as at deluxe resorts, but you're still getting breakfast and snacks and beer and wine which sounds good to me.
Nothing against POR at all (and I really love POFQ and had it booked before I switched to CSR), but a club level room near transportation, the main pool, and food court for 30 bucks more than Alligator Bayou is a deal.

Resigned to the fact that CSR is sold out of the visa offer for the dates that I wanted… Can anyone please tell me when the GP release date is? TIA!

Yea that is what I am hoping for too as a party of 5. We have a family suite at AoA which I would love to stay but your talking almost $1600 more with the upgraded dining plan. So if POR doesn't come out guess we will be fine at AoA and pay the extra.

We actually have 6, but one is under 3, but I can tell you to not give up hope!!! POR might open up eventually! Last year, I had to call every couple of days for a month, but I did get it! Right now we are at All Star Sports in 2 rooms, but it costs $1000 more than POR would!!! If we don't get POR we will have to cut down on the days

After a stressful two hours I finally got a wonderful CM on the phone. Went to switch from POR to Wilderness 11/9 to 11/16 and she could NOT find the VISA free dining offer. She told me to wait until May 7th. I said....OH NO YOUR NOT! look again. She ended up finding it. I had a minor freak out. But ended up booking two Wilderness Lodge rooms with FREE DINING!

We are a family of 5 now that we have a new daughter-in-law going with us for the first time! We opted for two rooms at Pop - thought that would give everyone more privacy rather than a family suite!
