Question for you guys. I originally booked my trip and ally ADRs for 4 people. Then we added a fifth person to the trip. My resort reservation says 5 but my ADRs still say 4. I asked my TA about adding the other person to the ADRs and she said she would have to cancel and rebook to make them all for 5 and I may not get everything I have already booked. She said just leave as is and when I get there just tell them I have 5 and not 4 and that it was the TAs mistake for not adding the other person. Has anyone ever done this? Does it work? I'm nervous that they won't let us go in with 5 without actually having it on the reservation...

That is crazy that a TA told you to do that without even making an effort to change them. Going from 4 to 5 requires a bigger table, so there are places that may turn you away. She should at the very least try to get them changed!!!

I've been booked for two before and came in with four and had no trouble, even back when Le Cellier was the hot ticket. Of course you may have to wait a few minutes longer.

Well, she probably should have made an attempt at changing, but she is right, most of your ADRs would have most likely had to be cancelled at this point. There's always a slight chance you could be turned away, but most places will accommodate you without issue.

We use both Disney Dollars and gift cards for our 7yos and 9 yo. For your situation, I'd recommend using gift cards -they are easier to carry and use.

Disney dollars are ideal if you want to reward or gift small amounts before your trip. We convert them to gift cards before we leave. If the kids don't use all their Disney Dollars at once, they will end up with a wad of both disney dollars and cash to keep track of and carry around.

I do love Disney Dollars though. We use them to encourage the kids to practice their music for months before a trip.

This is an excellent idea to use the Disney dollars for rewards between now and September! Where can I get them other than a park?
