There's a chance, BUT...the normally release more rooms at some point. And, other "views" are normally available. Have a few back-up choices, and if you don't get your first choice, keep calling back (once a week or so). You never know!

Thank you!

Anyone book AoA suite yet?
Are they treating the AoA suites like a value? So you have to upgrade from quick service to regular?

Am I the only one who had ZERO wait time? The "your call may be monitored" message barely ended and I had a CM immediately. However, I'm also a loser who adjusted her whole getting ready for work routine so I could call at exactly 7:00 lol

If that makes you a loser, then I must be really bad!! I not only adjusted my whole routine, I came in to work 1 hour early and took my morning break as soon as I got here so I could be on the phone at 6:00 (Central Time!) But so glad I did. Saved $667 and now trip is booked and my Disney Reward Dollars that we saved will pay for the trip!!! Great way to start the week even if now I need about a gallon of coffee to keep going here at work!!:coffee:

Man, it is seriously going to be the longest week ever, waiting for Thursday to get here!!!

Has anyone noticed our post count in eight short days?

I believe we will hit two thousand posts on Thursday, if not before. :cool1:

And yeah, this thread will explode on Thursday as well.

Oh, and I just received my email from visa....:rotfl2:

People have been booking the AoA suites all morning, but Nemo suites seem to have some limited availability for some dates. The Little Mermaid rooms are blacked out.

AOA is a value resort so under a FD promo you would receive the Quick Service DDP. If you would like a different DDP, you would have to pay the upgrade cost.

Just wanted to stick this out there for those trying to decide between FD or RO discounts. You really need to run the numbers to compare. If we did RO at our current resort, POR, it would be $360 cheaper then what we are paying now; and if we dropped to ASMo it would only be $720 cheaper. We would easily spend more than that on dining if we paid OOP since there's so many of us, so it is definitely cheaper for us to go with the FD (took almost $1500 off the package price). Just run the numbers and compare because it all depends on how many in your group and where you plan on eating.

Thanks again to those for the heads up! We knew we wanted to do the Halloween party again but we've been waiting to plan for whenever the FD would be offered. pixiedust:

Congrats all Sept FD'ers!!
We did FD last Sept and now we wont go any other way. FD rocks!!

Now that you mention it, it has boomed! Is there some kind of record for the most posts in the shortest amount of days? Wow! How time flys when you're havin' fun:cool1:

Still no email from Visa.....although last month did receive email from them for next years runDisney events.

We got the visa offer via email with codes in it. Anyone know if we can use these codes online somehow or do we have to call and make reservations? I'm not sold on going and want to look at pricing and hotel options before making a decision. Would prefer to do that online vice over the phone.

Free dining at a value or moderate resort is almost always going to come out way ahead of a room only discount. With a deluxe you may want to run the numbers. Some of the really expensive deluxe rooms can come out ahead with a RO offer, but even then number and age of guests can make a difference - especially of all the kids are over 10.

No, you will just have to price out your trip on the Disney site and not add the DDP - that will give you the FD promo cost.

I'm confused, how are you seeing more at a value than a mod? Maybe I'm not understanding your numbers. :confused3

Ok. This is my first time on here. We have been to Disney for the last 5 years and always received the FREE DDP. We are in the UK and are looking for some advice. I see everyone is booking their free DDP today, good news, however, we have had to leave our booking this year til now (work commitments) we normally book earlier and get the free DDP. Does anyone know if free DDP will be offered in August (as previous) for UK travellers.

I think having to pay to upgrade is a little crazy. I know you are at a value resort, but you are paying a deluxe price. :confused3
