One of our friends who was up in the air about booking, just booked. She had the pin. So now we have another 2 people joining us. 4 rooms total at CBR, 1 offsite and one renting points at BC. Total people 16 or 18, depending on whether my sister and sister in law come alone or with their hubbys.

Still hoping for a free dining code for us, but am happy that our friends were able to get it.

The reason I wouldn't ask her to share her pin is there is a slight chance her two grown children will be going. I wouldn't take the opportunity away from them. She is also pretty sick, and if for any reason they would have to cancel I would be worried about our reservations getting messed up.

Hey, everyone! After a long day of chaperoning DS's class trip to a local museum/planetarium, AND making hundreds of copies for DD's teacher, I have some awesome news to share!

I got home from school today and was exhausted, so I jumped on the Dis for a bit while I put my feet up. I saw all of the reports of more PINs going out, and checked my email. Sadly, there was nothing. I decided to call, and I had the FD PIN!!! I couldn't believe it! In fact, even after the call, I was still in disbelief, but I now have my confirmation email showing that it is for real!

I hope everyone needing this PIN gets it. Don't give up!

Posted this on another thread, but again congrats!!!!! You really deserve it.

Does the rainforest cafe take QSDP? We wanted to go last year but never made it.

No Rainforest and TRex are both table service credits.

Not worth it to even try. Two cms and a guest services rep later. Got told no. I don't know why I didnt escalate after being lied to about our pin!

That really stinks that they told you that, but I didn't think it sounded logical. Everyone would do that if it were true. We will keep hoping together!

Our stairs have a 180 turn half way up, so "dining" was on the second half. The kids and I were sitting at the top of the stairs with big goofy grins on our faces. Basically looking like this----> I could see the weight lift off his shoulders when he realized what was going on. He was so afraid we wouldn't get the dining plan. He was very close to having me buy it even though I showed him that we would be able to each cheaper OOP. With DD being 10 now, there was no way we would spend that much on food. He was convinced that he would not want to eat if he had to pay for the meal right then and there. He works so hard, and with everything going on at work right now, I am just so happy that he doesn't have to stress over this anymore.

That is such a great way to surprise your DH. I am so so happy for you.

I have been reading about pins, well I went to my e mail and saw Disney destination and guess what a letter head, tomorrow will probably be the video. I guess I should be happy that they are sending me something.

What?? I was so excited just for that second..

I called earlier today and after being on hold for what seemed like an eternity (but was probably only about 3 minutes) the cm came on and told me "I'm so sorry, but no,"

At least he was polite about it....but still no pin for me...guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for a gp offer

I'll try again tomorrow. This was the first time that I did not give any info except for my first name... I always enter the information when I call but they still ask for it... My DH thinks he did not look. Maybe they have a lot of callers looking for pins ..

Nothing for me either. I spoke with a really nice CM this time though, and she said that she would expect a snail mailing to go out in the next 3 days. Not sure why she mentioned 3 days specifically. I would think she would have some reason to think so or she would not mentioned it. Either that or they all really like messing with our heads....

In the PIN wave a few weeks ago I called and there was no pin. I was so bummed. Due to some unplanned circumstances, we really needed a FD offer. That said, I called back again a couple of weeks later just to check again. The CM was so amazing! She asked me for the names of everyone going on our trip. And there was a PIN for my mom who is traveling with us! I could hardly believe it. I think the CM was almost as excited as I was. So keep trying and be sure to check everyone's names traveling in your party! Good luck!!!

So excited. Got free dining 11'11'13 - 18 th... I never get this im so stoked. Keep trying everyone woohoo the last day of the food and wine festival we will have snack credits. This really will be a great way to start a Disney Vacation!!!!

MNSSHP - Sep 17th (that's the plan, anyway) - granddaughter wants to be Princess Aurora so I'm making a King Stefan costume my SIL , the queen costume my daughter (does Aurora's mom have a name?) and good fairy (Flora) costume for me.
Somehow I found myself volunteering to make the adult costumes. Sorta forgot that the definition of stress is hearing your mouth say "yes" when you're mind is screaming "Nooooooooooo".

We are also doing MNSSHP on the 17th. Can you make our TMNT costumes?? Please

I'm trying to figure out costumes... ones that aren't hot, and that won't take up too much room in our luggage. 3 adults... my husband, me, and our 25 year old daughter. My daughter doesn't want to dress up, cause she doesn't want anything constrictive for rides. 3 years ago, we just wore orange tshirts, and then my husband and I bought pirate hats and swords from the pirate or the Caribbean ride. I'm thinking Mickey and Minnie... maybe...

I am making our costumes out of lightweight cotton fabrics (for the most part, anyway) so we won't roast in them.
As long as you get or make costumes in lightweight "breathable" material, you should be reasonably comfortable in them. You could use fabric paint on those orange t-shirts & draw jack-o-lantern faces on them; or put big red circle on one shirt & write "STOP" in middle of the circle, put big yellow circle on another one with "CAUTION" on it & the 3rd shirt with a big green circle with "GO" written on it so the 3 of you could go as a traffic light.

That is awesome - congratulations. I am very happy for you - and grats to all who have gotten their FD wishes granted. I love reading everyone's posts about this. I know when we got the FD discount applied, my DD & I were both giddy - so exciting! As many times as I've been to Disney, I've never gotten FD before - gotta love saving about $1500!!
