Kids Stay and Play FREE Package
http://www.mousesavers.com/packages.html

Anyone can take advantage of an exclusive offer for stays most nights May 2 - June 3, 2010. When you purchase a 4-night/5-day Magic Your Way vacation package that includes room and theme park tickets, a child (ages 3-9) can stay in the same room and get 5-day theme park tickets for FREE!

Note that children ages 3-9 normally stay for free in the same room with their parents, so that is no savings. However, the savings on theme park tickets can be substantial, particularly if you have two adults and two children in the correct age range.

Offer code BF4.

We received the free QSDP PIN and this promo listed above would have actually cost us a little more. We are already getting the free kids dining plan, but the cost of the dining plan we'd have to buy for us is higher than the free tickets.

How big is your family???? How many rooms do you have to book to save $1176 for a seven night trip
Have you looked into the Kids stay play and dine free? Sounds like this would be a better discount for your family.

We have 4 in our family. All age 10 and over. $42 * 4 * 7 = $1176. We did not go last year with the free QSDP. All years prior was DP.

I do not know how to get the kids stay, play and dine free offer. I believe this was for Disney Visa members only?

The QSDP, which is what was given at the values, has a maximum "Free" value of $83.96 per room per night. That's only $587.72 for 7 nights. Are you adding up all the receipts from what you ate last year?

Maybe you are referring to a different time frame, but we went to Disney last year from Sept 26, 2010 to Oct 3, 2010 and we had FD and we stayed at Pop Century.

That wouldn't help you since your kids are 10 and older.

Free dinning is the best bet for us also.. will save us $1350. I cant get a room discount that good

Those who don't get a pin code discount have to rely on general public discounts - it's great you had more than one choice and weighed your options. It's always wise to run all the numbers:teacher: before making a decision on which discount to use;)

Does anyone think this is all just Disney's way of making us book bounceback instead of waiting till now when they SHOULD have released fall deals? With the airfare at higher prices (but still empty) and no FD or anything for after Aug 14th, I'm thinking this trip we tried to plan is just not going to happen. I even tried to get a pin code with the steps in another thread and nothing so far. I'm giving up.:sad2:

How many other families will have given up by then?

Seems to me that NOW is the time to fight for those fall vacation dollars. Get families excited and committed, before the economy makes travel even more expensive and scares folks away from considering a frivolous Disney vacation.

A huge part of planning a Disney trip is locking in your expenses so you can budget and save for several months. It's going to make it even harder for families to plan a vacation as gas approaches $4/gal, airfares climb even further, and they've just got a few months to pay for it. By then, Disney's marketing department may realize they made a mistake.

I guess the joke's on them then:rotfl::lmao:

Just maybe they are trying pin codes for now ... My friend who is a manager for wdw parks claims that since the ned of 2008 things have been flat for Disney. What people they can get to go spend very little once they are there.
Remember that there are many other things to do:
1. Mexico trips are at rock bottom prices
2. Cruises are at an all time low with free food ;);)
3. Great deals to Alaska
4. Many Islands are having great sales
5. New HP opening

I agree with higher gas prices trips closer to home will increase. Airline fees for a family are out of control. Your bags can cost as much as your ticket. All indications from an article I read is that this will be another strange year for travel !
Most of us on these boards are the fortunate that can still go on a trip or two each year. We all like discounts, however if it becomes that important to a trip, maybe it just isn't right !! There are many other places to go.
I always like to say " There is LIFE after Disney "...........

I wish they would too! We are just planning as though we are going. Train tickets...booked, ADR's all booked! Let's just hope we get some news soon!

:wizard:Don't give up!!!:wizard:

On another thread they are saying that Disney is very concerned about the summer sales. But, it is strong possibility promos are coming out at the end of the month or first of April.:banana:

We normally fly, but with the luggage that we take and the amount of people.....that's to much money in luggage. We are driving this year.:eek::sick::sick: until.......we get there.

I was looking at the train myself, but for the prize we could fly. Does Amtrak charge for luggage?

I believe that Disney is doing all they can to get people there during the summer. If bookings are down for summer months, I dont blame them. Not everyone plans their vacations that far in advance, believe or not :)

Once these promos are done they will start offering fall promos. Hopefully it will be what we are all looking for.

Hope is not lost!

For all of those worried about airfare... a word of advice... fly Southwest... no charge for 1st or 2nd bag AND their fares inevitably get cheaper within a month or so of travel... and use BING to track airfare prices so you know when to purchase! :thumbsup2

Unless you are Pooh-Sized... they may charge you for a 2nd seat or kick you off altogether!!

(Remember the "Too fat to fly" story from Feb, it was on Southwest)
