Kevin Smith (Clerks, Jay & Silent Bob) got kicked off stand-by on Southwest for being too big to fit in a seat. He had purchased two seats for the normal flight, but finished whatever he was doing early, so went standby on an earlier flight. They only had one seat, he was in it and buckled, then they kicked him off for "safety reasons" and then he started twittering, and Southwest eventually apologized, but what ticked him off what the fact that the policy wasn't enforced equally and routinely in the first place, and he was already boarded, seated, AND buckled in, THEN made to deplane.

Thanks! I'll google it and read!

Thanks for explaining it... by the looks of his pictures he really isn't that big... I think I am bigger than him and there is no way I can afford to pay for 2 plane tickets... so I don't fly!

Disney must be really hurting for summer bookings. I got a PIN resent to me for the QSDP thru 8/14 today, book thru 4/30. I had gotten the PIN a month ago, and called to see if I can apply it to October stay, but was told no, but keep my eye out for fall discounts.

For us, Disney took too long coming out with the fall promos...I am a way-in-advance-need -every-detail-decided kind of planner. Our original plan was for October, but were willing to go in September for free dining. However, in the mean time, found a great timeshare rental (we would need 2 Disney rooms) that seems to be a better deal for our family and we will go back to our original plan to go in October. I love to eat :goodvibes but the family we are going with just are not as interested in food, so I will go during the F&W and pay OOP for all the food I want while they watch my kiddos :cool1::lmao:

Oh, yeah, my original point, I got the same PIN twice to the same email for the same summer dates...

Yeah, I've received the same QSDP PIN 3 times now. The most recent was just a few days ago.

I know when Disney has free dining that the rooms are limited to a certain amount per resort but do they ususally offer free dining at all the resorts? We are planning a trip and thinking of staying at CSR. Since this is a conference center would they have the free dining offer for this resort?

Now the kids stay, play and dine for free through October 2nd. Guess regular FD isn't coming....why would anyone choose to get only the kids free when the whole family could dine for free.....I mean I guess there are some instances when it would be cheaper since you do get their tickets free but for most families it doesn't equal out and I'm sure they'd rather all dine free. On to plan B....which is going to hurt since we've already booked and paid and had to move it from last year....we'll have a cancellation fee or a change fee but without some sort of discount it's just not worth it (and the kids discount doesn't really make too much of a dent in our ressies).

Historically, yes, all on-site resorts have been included, including convention resorts and club level. However, the terms of the offer may vary from one resort category to another (ie. Value Vs. Deluxe). And, you are absolutely correct, that any promo, whether general public or pin code, is limited to the number of rooms allocated using that code.

Good luck:)

It's on the Chase Visa site. You'll have to clear your cookies so the old offer won't pop up, but it's updated and says through October 2nd. It also has a longer booking window now.

I'm not aware of this change. This is from the WDW booking site:

Kids, ages 3 to 9, can stay and play for FREE when you buy this
4-night/5-day room and ticket package for stays most nights from May 2 through June 3, 2010.

So this will probably be extended to the general public next week:confused3

This is what I pull up at Disney Rewards...You need to clean out your cache/cookies so the old offer stops coming up when you pull it up.
