Thanks.

So this will probably be extended to the general public next week:confused3

Who knows....it wasn't released to the GP when it was the older dates was it? Maybe this isn't the GP fall promo? At this point....who really knows whats going on with Disney LOL

I know when Disney has free dining that the rooms are limited to a certain amount per resort but do they ususally offer free dining at all the resorts? We are planning a trip and thinking of staying at CSR. Since this is a conference center would they have the free dining offer for this resort?
CSR has always participated in the fall free dining promo.

I've updated the first page with the extended Disney Rewards Visa promo. (My thanks to TheRatPack for the heads-up:))

As of now, the general public offer dates are still unchanged:

Dis friends, I need your help.

I just returned home yesterday for a week in the middle east. I am dealing with a 13 hour flight and 7 hour time difference, plus withdrawals from not being online for about 9 days.

This site is the only one I checked yesterday before going to bed for 14 hours. I came on today trying to "back read" to catch myself up, but between jet lag and all of the information, my head is spinning- literally. I read that DV extended their offer. I have a question or two.

1) Is the FD for kids QS for all resort levels?
2) kids 3-9 receive FD and free park tickets? Does this include park hopper, or is that an extra fee?
3) I think I saw the offer is for 4 or 5 nights. We will go for 8 nights- will our kids get all nights free or only 5 or so?

Some background info for us- we are 2 adults, 2 disney kids, wanting to go for 8 nights and 7 days. We will get park hoppers but not water park option.

Dis friends are always the best help- thanks in advance.

And by the way, I posted this on another thread before I saw this one had more buzz about the DV offer.

1) The Disney Visa kids free ticket and dining offer is for QSDP at all resort levels.
2) Just the base tickets are included, you will have to pay to upgrade to park hoppers.
3) The 4 or 5 night minimum that you see in most advertising verbage, is just that, for advertising purposes only. Most Disney offers are for 3 night minimums and 14 day maximums.

Wow, the answers I needed and fast, too. I knew my Dis friends would come through. Now- on to do the math to see how this helps. Thank you!!!

hmmm I almost wonder if they are just going to extend the Kids Stay and Play instead of offering FD this year!!!! Maybe they'll do FD for later in the year instead?!

For 2 adult & 2 kids, How can you figure out which plan saves the most?

Free Dining Plan for all or
The Visa Kids QS Plan & tickets free. (And, then purchasing the Reg. dining for 2 adults & upgrading kids)?

I'm trying to find prices & cannot.

Thanks.

Free Dining for all is cheaper than the kids stay and eat free, especially if you are upgrading to the basic plan.

Give me your dates and if you are upgrading and I can figure it out for you.

Question about the Disney Visa.. We just got ours last week :cool1:
Do they send emails with these perks or specials or do you just have to check that website?

I'm not sure if this new Disney Visa Discount extended through Oct 2 will help us or not. Maybe the 'experts' can help advise me?!

We are 2 adults & 2 kids (ages 8 and 10) We were considering a 3 Night stay in late September at a Value resort. We already have Seasonal Passes so we don't need tickets (but we were considering buying the 1-day tickets if that would enable us to qualify for Free Dining, and later we could trade in the value of the 1-Day ticket for a future annual pass or other pass)

If we booked a 3 Night package with this Disney Visa package deal, would we have to also buy four 1-Day tickets to qualify for QS Free Dining? Would ALL of us be getting Free Dining, or just the child who is 8 years old? (would we be paying for the Dining for the other 3 of us, in the package price?) Would the 8 year old have to buy a 1-Day ticket, or would that be free/included in the deal?

Sorry if my question is a bit confusing. I am just trying to figure out whether this deal is any good for Seasonal Passholders like us! Thanks in advance for any tips.

do a quote online for your stay paying for the plan and than for not(diference if what you would save)

and do a quote for you and hubby with tickets and qsdp, dont add the kids.. than do one with the kids

With the Visa offer can you pay to upgrade from the QSDP to DDP?

Also, can I save the park admission tickets for another trip? I'd like to hold onto them until next year then use the value to upgrade to annual passes.

Yes. the cost to upgrade is 15. I just booked this myself. The park tickets will expire unless you add on the no expire option.

I second this. Feeling pressed, I booked us the DV offer and the CM suggested that I watch out for the next week or two to see IF FD is offered so that I can save even more money on my package.
