Free customized maps ?????

So I went to order my free customized park maps that they offer at disneyworld website and for the last few weeks I have been unable to order them, it lets me do the address for shipment but on the last page it says "system error" ???
Anyone else having this trouble???
 
I've been trying for 2 weeks to order some for my mom, and I keep getting an error.
 
Try right now, I just did it, and it went through just fine.
 

Same here. I have tried several times over the last few months and always get "system error".
 
I kept trying them last summer and could never get them to work, nor could I get an answer from anyone on how to fix it.

For this summer I kep trying and it wasnt working, but then I realized that I wasnt signed in to my "Disney account" associated with that webpage, and once I did log in, I got it to go through - and those maps are AMAZING!!

The problem I had was since I wasnt logged into my Disney account and I finished customizing the maps it tried to link the maps to my account, but since I wasnt logged in, it had no account to link them to, and therefore would give me an "error code"..

GOOD LUCK!!

ps..and this wasnt my "Mom's panel" account or my "DIS" account, or my "Disney VISA" account - it's the one associated with http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/
 
I was already logged in, but I did go in and delete and itinerary I no longer needed and updated the one for my trip and it worked!
 
I too was having problems ordering the maps. I kept getting the system error, too. So after reading this thread, I took the advice and deleted my itinerary, proceeded to "customized maps" and then it went through. I got a confirmation # and the screen said I will be getting an email when the maps ship. I leave for Walt Disney World Sept 22, so I hope that it really is 2-4 weeks for shipping.

Mine took about 3 weeks.

I also had to delete the itinery and make a new one in order for the system to take it. Disney must have some wierd glitch in their system! The maps are awesome. I almost don't want to take them with... afraid they'll get ruined!

Please do not add a saved itinerary to the Vacation Plans page of the
custom maps order form. This seems to be causing errors to occur with
some of our guests. Simply uncheck the box which attaches a saved
itinerary and continue with your order form. If you continue to have

style of map (classic or character) that you would like and we will

Definitely go in and make sure you don't have any itineraries...

This has been a problem for awhile now, it's so silly that they can't fix it. Let's just say that you can order the maps every 6 months, and I've gotten two sets of maps since they first started having this problem...
 
I got my customized maps 3 days after Disney sent me the confirmation that they "were on the way" - I think I requested them the first week of August...prolly the 1st/2nd and got them the 12th- Got the confirmation email on the 9th.

So, if your curious as to how long they'll take...I'd say 2 weeks is a good assumption.
 
Thank you all sooooo much! I've been trying to order these maps for months. Went in today, unchecked Itinerary, and it worked. :woohoo:
