FREE Cricut Cartridge

Gosh, that's a good question.
My bill for Joys of the Season also only says CRAFTS.
Their old system didn't say anything, just prices & quantities.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was wondering if it was the way the gal entered it in the register. She checked me out based on the little papers, then went and got the carts from the cabinet. So, I don't think any UPC got scanned. I did send Cricut support an e-mail about it. We'll see what they say once regular business hours start up again. Perhaps it would help if more people sent in a similar question so that they see that not every retailer lists the carts specifically and will be more likely to let us use our HL receipts. If the reply comes back, saying that I can use that receipt, I will be including a copy of the e-mail so that the rebate fulfillment people don't reject it.

I did get Joys of the Season at my Hobby Lobby on Saturday. They had Locker Talk, but I don't need another school one.

I'm STILL waiting for Paper Dolls to show up.

I ordered paper dolls online and it's currently wrapped under my tree for Christmas morning... Do you know how hard it's been not unwrapping that thing and taking it out for a test drive and than re-wrapping!

Can I say how I am at HL right now? I'd have gotten a refund back for it, but it was such a good price that I hated to do it. What if it came the next day and then I had to pay full price for it? Guess I'll be calling today to see it came on the truck. I've been doing that for many Monday's now.

Did your HL have Paper Doll Dress Up? Ours had the tags a while back, but took them off the shelf and they haven't re-appeared. I've called since Nov. 30th hoping they'd be available for the Dec. 1st release, but nothing.

They had the tags up a while back. The same time there was coupon that didn't have cricut exclusion on it. They didn't the cartridges in stock, but I prepaid the raincheck to lock in the coupon price.
They took that tags away right after that.
The one I got the raincheck at has not had any of the new carts yet. The one by my DH's work has had Joys of the Season (got it) and Locker Talk. Nothing else new yet.

Just a heads up: I read the fine print and there is no limit to the number of rebates per household. My hubby let me pick up 4 cartridges because of the Creative Express Sale (4 from a specific list for $27 a piece!) so now I'll get two free. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't end up with the same cartridge twice ... I guess there's always eBay!

i did the same thing and got 4 from c. Express...so if I do get two of the same from the rebate I'll be up for swapping!

I called our HL and they still don't have paper dolls..
The lady seems a little put off that I inquired.... Can you say... BLECH to you too! (the lady on the phone not any of you!)

The lady I talk to (named Nancy by the way) is always very nice and never seems put out when I call her to ask about the Paper Dolls. This weeks truck was stuck in the snow, but she checked the manifest and it didn't show on there.
Don't think I am getting it for Christmas.


However, I do think I saw my DH try to sneak in with a HL bag, so I'm hoping it is the Princess carts. Need to get the receipt and send in my rebate.

Since we're leaving tomorrow for FL, we did my birthday and Christmas tonight, since we didn't want to lug our stuff down there, and we need the space to bring the gifts from my parents home.

I could tell from the package that I was getting a cartridge. I was hoping it would be like the Mickey font. Then I was hoping AC Moore would have carts on sale and then I was going to buy Dreams Come True since I couldn't find it at stores here, and then I would have 2 carts and could send away for the free one.

However, it wasn't the Mickey font in my package it was Dreams Come True! I guess Walmart had them as part of the stuff they got for the Black Friday sale. So now I am trying to justify buying ANOTHER cartridge so I can get a free one (even though none of the ones available are actually on my cartridge want list; but I could find something to do with My Community or the boxes/bags/tags one).

I don't have a problem though. 11 cartridges in 2 months isn't a problem, right?

However, I can't find Joy of the Seasons or Stretch Your Imagination locally either, so if I could find one of those on sale at AC Moore, that probably would be justifiable.

Well, I've officially mailed out my envelope for the free cart. Wonder how long it will take?

I freely admit to 21 carts in hand +2 for Christmas +1 Paper Dolls (when it comes in) +1 Free cart for a total of 25. Since Valentine's Day.

I just about fell off my chair at work.

I sent mine off today also ... and if I have my way I'll have one more to send off before the end of the year. My MIL gave me an early Christmas present of the Mickey Font Cartridge ... and I'm hoping to pick up the other Mickey one either for Christmas or my birthday which is the 26th!

I have the 4 that came with it, plus 4 on their way from Creative Express, and 2 free ones, plus the Mickey font for 11 total since I got the machine the Saturday after thanksgiving. Is that a record? or does NEE or someone else have me beat?

I am beginning to wonder if I will ever go to a crop again ... I'm not sure I'll be able to part with all of my fun tools I have at home!
