Hi everyone,

I haven't posted very often- in the process of moving to NV, relocating our business and planning vow renewal- but I do check in and read some of the awesome reports and get tips/ideas :goodvibes

We signed and sent our agreement, in June. We met our planner, in October and are having our tasting at the GF, on January 26. I have not received passes and I haven't asked- mainly because I wasn't sure if all customs get the passes or is it gifted at random. We are getting the free room night, though, but I wouldn't think that would matter because I've read that some brides got both. Do you ladies think I should inquire about the passes? I've been thinking about asking, because I don't want to buy tickets (for DH and I), if we are going to get them free. On the other hand, I don't want to seem "greedy", if that makes sense.

I am an intimate, but this came up in a past thread, and I believe it was said that the AP Gift is listed in your contract. I would check there and if it is listed, then I would ask! :thumbsup2

If it is not listed, I would give it a little more time and then inquire if you have received nothing, I would just play it off that a friend told you it was customary for them to do that.

I'm gonna read over the contract, again. I don't recall any mention of it, though. But, if we don't get them, after we get our BEO. I will ask, using the friend told me, excuse ;)

I signed my contract in Oct and thought for sure I would have my APs for my Dec planning session. I still had not received them a few days before our trip so I called my EM. She did not even question how I knew about them. She left them at Franck's for DF and I to pick up as soon as we got to WDW. I was so happy b/c this saved us about $500 for our planning session trip! The envelope they were in, that was supposed to be mailed to me, was dated mid- November. I think that they have just been so busy during the holidays that this was not a priority :confused3 I would call your EM when you get closer to your tasting session. Good luck.

I think I'll email her. Our planner is really great and I know she has been very busy...Plus, she just got married and was out of the office for awhile, so there's a lot going on with her. But, I think I'll just send her a casual email and mention it.

I guess I just needed a little reassurance that inquiring, would be okay. You ladies rock :cool1:

I don't know if it's mentioned in the contract itself. But we submitted the contract with out deposit a couple of months ago and just got the countersigned pages back with our AP vouchers right after Christmas.

Have you gotten back the final countersigned contract yet?

We got it back a couple of weeks, after we sent our deposit and signed agreement to them. I suppose they got really busy and may have not gotten around to it, yet. But, I will email her, in the morning.

We signed our contract in Oct too. I called in December about the passes, just to make sure that we would have them before the planning session. Meri had them sent out to us and we got them 2 weeks later.

me and my fiance are cast members and we have passes i was wondering if they compensate in any other way? or if we could give them to our families?

Sun- I'm not sure, maybe someone else here knows the answer to your question :)

I just emailed my planner and inquired about the passes. She said she will look into, on Monday :goodvibes

I don't know what BEO stands for, but it's the initial estimated budget you get approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding, and it breaks down all the costs.

In regard to the annual pass, does anyone know if this works as a "park hopper"? Are you able to go to multiple parks in one day with the AP?

just a reminder to any new brides that the ap's are not set gifts and as of now disney has the right to not send them...although everyone seems to be getting them now. calling was a good idea and no harm can be done. they are typically sent back with the signed contract.

for the poster who was a cast member- i woud ask your planner to make sure you are eligible for the passes.

the annual passes are like annual park hoppers...you can go to any of the 4 parsk, any day, any time you want for a year. you can upgrade for a fee to the premium pases which include the water parks.

Sunshine,

We are had our own AP's, so we gave our wedding AP's to two family members that needed park tickets.

Pixie dust,

Susy

Our planner emailed us today and said our passes were mailed to us the end of August. I suppose it got lost in the mail or someone thought Disney really loved them :confused3 I'm just happy knowing we were supposed to get them :cool1:

I would suppose they would. She said that they are having their ticket department look into and would get back to me, soon.
