Free Admission through Cast Member - Issues?

My niece was a CM and IIRC it depends on the type of pass(es) they have access to and which ones they are willing to "gift you". We had AP's when we visited her and even so I would not have asked for a pass from her as she had lots of friends and other relatives that would ask.

But you do need to confirm if the CM is willing to book FPs for you and if you’d even be able to enter a park at the scheduled park opening or if it’s based on the timing of the CM’s work schedule.

Agreed. Hence why I came here. I wanted to get as much information as possible to best tailor questions regarding admission, FPs, etc. And that opening vs work schedule is something interesting I did not think about. Thank you.

Nobody but the CM is going to know what is available to them or what they are offering to you - you are going to have to ask the CM. /out!

It shouldn’t be an issue. They can let you in before they go to work or after. I have had friends who were able to let people in while at work and come back but that’s a management call -especially if they are prepping for you to come they can move or switch their schedule if need be. They also don’t have to be with you (after letting you in)as long as you behave yourself. They had issues with people abusing the system and misbehaving with cm not there.

It’s really not all that dire, but def rec talking to the cm.

But it can be an issue. My CM friend is scheduled media events and arrives to work at 4:00a or 5:00a sometimes. On those days I’d choose not to go to a park or would meet up with her for her lunch break.

The OP needs to know potential park entry before he/she decides on using the Guest Passes or purchasing tickets which give him a 30-day FP window and park entry according to his own schedule.
