I go back to the DRS in the am. So I will have the answers then. My appt. is at 9:30. I have a feeling they are going to have to go back in and fix it taht way. Lucky me.Not.
But on Thursday John and I are going to one of my best friends beach house for a couple of days. Me a beach chair and a couple of books. Plus all my water and my hat and I will be good to go

I left out a post/question...it is getting late and I am getting tired.

Kellie, I have a question. Is this infection...has your body grown a 'protective bubble' (for lack of a better term) around the infection? And, that is what won't drain? Are they thinking of going in and removing the 'bubble' of infection? I have heard of that happening before...just wanting to clarify what you are going through.

They will remove the pocket and the tissue around the( for lack of better term) wall it has formed. So they are getting everything booked and hopefully by the end the day I will know. So until then I also have to stay out of work.

WOW do you have a strong constitution! You AND your body are such fighters!

DH has a friend that had his appendix burst a couple of years ago. He didn't even know it because his body had formed a 'bubble' around the appendix as it was acting up and, when it burst, the bubble maintained the infection....until it couldn't any more and the bubble burst and the infection was flowing. He had to have emergency surgery. I hope they get to yours before it does anything. Take it easy, as much as you can, until they get in there. You must be feeling a little rebellious by now....with all this "take it easy" stuff.

Let us know when they get the date squared away...

Good afternoon FREAPS! My kids are napping finally. I've been fairly busy all day so I'm taking a break. I did several loads of laundry and hung them on the line. Then I got my garden all hoed out, sowed some more cilantro seed, picked a couple zuchinni and cut back all my basils. Then I made my first pesto of the year to freeze for winter time. I'm so excited about gardening this year because it is really the first year I can just turn the kids loose to play without constantly having to worry about them. I just tell them to stay in the sandbox, on the swings or in the mowed areas. Since we've had a run-in with chiggers they have been obeying the last part. Our weather is absolutely beautiful-sunny and about 79 degrees. That's crazy for this time of year in Ky. I just wish it would last.

Kellie-glad you are getting some beach time. You need it. I just wish all us FREAPS could come with you. Not sure how much relaxing you would get but there would sure be some laughs!

TMZ mentioned that J. Depp gave a beer party after wrapping the movie shoot. So, I went on line to see if they said any more about it...not much was shown on tv.

Wow. All the FREAPS must be really busy this week. I got less than 3 hours sleep last night so I am Zombie Mommy this morning. The kids are vegging out in front of the tv while I surf the web(see where I got my name pperfectmom ). I plan on doing nothing the rest of the day except putting new sheets on DS's bed. We just moved him up to a big boy twin last week and I didn't have any twin sheets to put on it. The poor little feller has been fighting with a flat sheet I put on the bottom for the past several nights. I went to Meijer after getting off work last night and they had a Lightning McQueen set on sale for 13.99 AND I had a coupon for 20% off that. He's pretty excited about it. So that's the breaking news from around here this morning.

 

[It's A Happy Day]

This week is the usual chaos around here....

Tuesday was real fun...I left home (7:45AM) and stopped at grocery store to get goods for an ice cream cake ( http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/oreo-fudge-ice-cream-106562.aspx - super easy super yummy!), went to work (8:00AM), made said cake at work. Called brother to pick up cake. Left work early (2:45) for annual GYN appt. (fun ) Left there (3:40) hit by major thunderstorm. Picked up kiddos at in-laws, brought them to swim lessons (4:30), left there, went to dads for cookout 6PM (he's working the 4th and this was his day off ), left there (8PM)picked up pizza for DH who didn't come with us, went home. So this is how a day in the life of Sally usually goes

Rest of the week pretty boring but tonight is fireworks night so I'm sure I'll cause some sort of trouble Won't be going to watch them at Holiday Inn Express And I actually have the next TWO days off from work!!! I might go blueberry pickin one of those days

I am finally rested after the last two days of non stop running. Tuesday we went to the Water Park and had a blast. Yesterday me and my DD went to Chicago to see WICKED. It was totally awesome. We really love Chicago. Hope All is well . Kellie I hope you are taking it easy.

I went to Meijer after getting off work last night and they had a Lightning McQueen set on sale for 13.99 AND I had a coupon for 20% off that. He's pretty excited about it. So that's the breaking news from around here this morning.

I remember my DS11's first big boy sheet set- Bug's Life . Hope he enjoys his new space!!

It has been very slow on the thread. DH and I went to a friends beach house on Thursday. We should not have been home till today but my friends kids all woke up sick with fevers so we bailed. The last thing I need is to get sick. So we came home yesterday

I was over a friends once and in the middle of the night her DH was horribly ill. We left even before they woke up in the morning. No way we were going to catch that!

Hello girls! I have not been around too much lately. Last week, just catching up on work b/c I took off Thursday and had off on the 4th.

Wed I had my concert! Type O- I told DH during the concert - "this is not just a concert- IT IS AN EXPERIENCE!"

I got some great pics- these are ony 2 of them....

MY Peter! His voice makes me....melt! And plays bass like nobody's business

Their guitarist Kenny can take you to the moon with his playing abilities! And he can belt out a tune too!

DH and his brother took DH's boat down the shore and put it in the water- finally! So we were down there @ his sister's place since Thursday. We came home today b/c the weather was not that great and it was not going to be much better tomorrow.

DH did take the boat out for the very first time on Friday with my 2 BILs.
