everyone must be busy.
I am still in the hold pattern with the DRS. They want the infectoin to clear up some before they open me up but that is not working out.
My stomach can not handle the pills anymore so hopefuly they tell me by the end of the week what is the plan.

But on a good note John has a job interveiw on Friday:cool1:cool1: :   :dance3: :dance3: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Oh, gosh, hurry up Friday!!

Good luck, John! Here's hoping you get what you wish for! :wizard:

I went to Borders with DS today and I noticed that our local Borders sells the Passporter: Walt Disney World! I was pretty happy with that because that means I can use a % off coupon some time! :yay:

I just had to verbalize a thought....

we were watching television as a family together and on comes this commercial for feminine hygiene products. I had to look at my husband and say "Give me a break!!!! 1st we have "have a happy period" and now we have freakin "MOTHER NATURE" giving us period advice" :confused3 WTH!!!! Next some MALE ad exec will think having "Aunt Flo" pop in with some "use OB for those light days!" advice :scared: C'mon, it's gotta be a man creating this junk!

so much better than the other hugs sometimes...esp. when one is in a cranky mood and you don't wanna be around real people...unless it's a toddler smooshing his/her face into your leg and saying "I wuv you mommy" then there's another kind of meltin going on

Kellie-sorry the infection isn't clearing up quickly. I know it must be frustrating for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it gets better soon and that you get good news on the job for John.

mtblujeans-sorry you're having a crummy day.

Things are busy around here. The new kitty is getting settled in and not bugging us quite as much at night. He has found his favorite spot to sleep-right next to DH's head on his pillow.:lmao: Better him than me.:rotfl: I have a ton of zuchinni from the garden, so every night it is a quest to think of a new way to fix it. I think I will shred and freeze some today and then I can start giving away the extra. Nobody I work with does a garden, so I'm sure I can find some takers. It's also blackberry time around here so DH and I have been taking turns picking. We are going to make blackberry wine this year and need 20 pounds!!!:scared1: So far we have about 3.:lmao: We are storing them in the freezer until we have enough. Last night, I jokingly told DH "I think I'm going to make us a blackberry cobbler for dinner." You should have seen his expression. :rotfl2:

Glad the new kitty is getting settled. He will take over your house before you know it.
I work with a guy that has a huge garden and every year he brings in all the stuff and sells it and gives the money to toys for tots.

Well both the wine and the cobbler sound good. Not sure what I would want first. :lmao:

To cover everyone I'm sending :grouphug: to everyone!

I'm so tired this morning! DH is out of town and I sooooo don't sleep well when he is away. It doesn't help that we had a couple of breakins down the street from us a couple of weeks ago! And the people were at home when it happened! Then this past weekend, a friend of ours home was broken into as well-luckily er neighbors heard it and scared him away. I guess its the economy thats giving people the stupid idea of breaking into homes! Whatever it is, THEY need to stop and find a legitimate way to make their money, or at least come on here and get them some Freebies!! :lmao:

Sorry, I just had to vent!:headache:

But I am looking to get a good guard dog-we have a ferret but she doesn't do a whole lot of guarding! Anybody have a German Shepherd-whats your opinion of owning them as a pet, especially with a 3 yo and a ferret in the house.

I miss picking blackberries with my dad! (he's no longer with me-God bless his soul!) He would take me and my sisters and brothers to these obscure locations to hunt for blackberry patches. I still can't believe we never found dead bodies! :rotfl2: I would put blackberries on my corn flakes and it would turn the milk purple. Yummy!

Sorry yu are not sleeping well. I dod not sleep to well if DH is not home. But it sure does make it worse if you have a rash of housebreaks going on.
We had that a few months ago around my town.

Okay, I had to share this photo of DD and Tiki since I mentioned them already. This was taken about a year ago but it was such a cute moment. Its one of my favorite pictures.

Thank you soooo much...that really hit the spot!! :cloud9:

Marna: I love zuchinni and blackberries! Too bad I don't live closer, I could help you out with both of them! :rotfl: Don't forget, zuchinni makes a good chocolate cake! :thumbsup2

MMKK: I think German Shepherds are great dogs if you have room for them. DH would love to have one, too, but he feels we are too old to start over with a puppy. :guilty: I'd have a puppy in a heart-beat! :rotfl: And what a cute picture of your 2 little ones!! Tiki must be very good that he/she doesn't mind being carried around the house! :)

Ahhhh....I just got a call from the DDS and they have an opening for me to come in and finish my root canal. Another one of those days is forming! :headache: Have a good day, Freaps!
