I remember them, too. Sally you look about 10ish in the tube top pick? I used to wear those, too...they fit me exactly the same. Problem is I was 17ish..

Don't kid yourself, those have been looooooooonnnnnnnggggggg forgotten You would not wanna see me in that same kinda top now Tube top I was probably about 9 while the other picture I was about 6...what was that like 15-20.......................................30 years ago

Great pics! Hey- bet that yellow tube top would go great with a pair of bell bottoms I used to wear all the time when I was younger- they were black with huge white and yellow flowers on them!

BTW- I think I have seen those tops around the mall- they might be making a come back!

What's everybody doing this weekend...?

Not much- DH will be working on our porch finishing it up, or trying to, I want to plant some impatients, and Monday- we will do the traditional Memorial Day parade in the town I grew up in.


OMG! Last night I had a dream about MR DEPP!!!!

It was not one of "those" dreams though (not this time!) But there was a lot of contact

I was somewhere, like a school or something and he was there to to give cooking lessons I think. I was sitting down and there was someone in front of me, and JD was talking, but he was RIGHT THERE to my left, SO close to me that I can feel the warmth of his face and his voice was right in my ear. He was then leaning up talking to the person in front of me and as he was leaning forward his arm was on my leg and I can feel how warm his arm was.....and lastley.....I was getting a pic taken with him and (MyGoofy26, my wench friend- I have to go and tell her) was on his left, I was on his right and she kissed his cheek and I was like- H%$# yeah!!- I wanna kiss his cheek too- so I did and I can feel his face was warm and and stubbly............

It was just weird that the whole dream was about "feeling" and closeness. Hmmmmm............Hey- I will take whatever dream I can get with JD in it!

I had those flag bell bottoms. Red and white vertical stripes with blue and stars on the bell part..


skin tight and low, low, low. As long as my butt crack didn't show, it was ok with my mom...

We are just chilling for the weekend.
Tonight we are meeting up with John's nephew and his soon to be wife for something to eat.
Then Monday we are going to see my nephew read a poem at the town parade.

For some reason I forgot how to say 'no' and have a weekend full of typing my DS11 school's yearbook . Why do I never learn.

I still have patterns of "handkerchief tops" from the '70s around here somewhere. I am seeing similar tops for sale in the junior departments around town. I wish I had seen this coming...I could have been making retro tops last winter and had them ready for this summer!

Today is oldest son's birthday. We are taking him and some friends bowling this afternoon. He has already seen the new Indy movie but we got the Kmart/Dr. Pepper tickets and we will probably go see the movie sometime this weekend. It has been rainy and cold these last few days....it if clears up, we will be doing outside projects. DH needs to finish an out-building for the cows and I need to weed my strawberry patch. My knee still doesn't bend that great so accomplishing that one should be interesting...

This weekend I am going to my SIL's on Sunday and my Nana's on Monday for family cookouts and next week they are both making me host the cookout. Even trade if you ask me. One day I cook and two days they cook I love the memory pics those are the best. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...

Hey everyone...It doesn't look like anyone's around right now, but I'm checking in anyway! I've been terribly, terrible ill for the last few weeks, but I'm finally feeling better, so I just spent like an hour catching up! I'm supposed to be in Ormond Beach with my family (we go every year for the weekend with about 60 or so other friends from college and their families), but I opted to stay home. I didn't think it would be wise to push it too hard and risk a relapse, so now I'm taking it easy and would like to say that I'm enjoying the peace and quiet, but I'm actually sad and lonely....woe is me!

But seeing all the new pics and new freaps has been great! I've missed you all!

Hey hadleysun! Welcome back! Sorry you've been ill. It's sure hard to do the 'grown-up' thing and miss out on something fun- hope the weekend sets you right for the rest of the summer.
My holiday weekend? I woke up to a warm fridge !! It may still be under warrenty (if it's the compressor/ cooler), but the repair guy can't come by 'till Tuesday . He did say it might just be that the fan collected moisture from the door not being fully shut confused3 ) and if I turned it off and left the doors open for 24hrs, it might start up good as new. So, my fridge is empty, I'm cleaning it bit by bit, and I threw all the collected jars of whatnot into the trash . Just glad we have a chest freezer downstairs.
Anyone else having more fun than us?

Wow guys, its been a long LONG time. LOL Half of you probably don't even remember me.

Well anyways.... DH (wow its been a long time since I typed that) have settled into our new custom house (well.. back in February) and have just now worked out all the kinks. Its been a fight with our local cable provider to get hooked up (internet and cable TV) due to living too far from the closest tap. Regaurdless... I'M BACK!

Hmm, so what did I miss? Nothing too juicy I hope. Dh and I are still planning for a little one sometime soon. No big trying right now though.

Hope all is well. I've missed our daily chats!

Here's the finished result of the house for those that are interested.... I'll include inside photos later. (hope this doesnt go too huge on me)

The house will not get to huge once you start filling it with kids.
