Ooooooh....it's Saturday, it's Saturday, it's Saturday, it's Saturday!

Hey everyone, just in from an hour on the $#%^&**$#% treadmill! We go to the beach every year for Memorial Day weekend and I have to admit I have not been looking forward to it this year...my booty just doesn't need to be exposed yet! Last year there were a LOT of celebrations in our family and the amount of yummy food and cake was enough to feed a cruise ship! So, of course, I indulged and said "I'll start working out and eating better NEXT WEEK...or month...."....all the way till now! I keep using the LMAO smily in hopes that it will actually help with the situation!

I hope everyone else is having a more enjoyable Sat. morning!

Just came back from a car wash fundraiser. Raised over $350 for our local teen center. How I managed to wash so many dang cars and still come home with mine DIRTY is beyond me!!!

Kellie-I second what everyone else has said "Beautiful familly!". I swear I keep planning to post some pics of us but I never get around to it. I took some great ones on a hike the other day but now I am way too buzzed to think about it. I asked DH to fix me a cosmopolitan when I got home from work and I think he doubled the vodka. I followed it up with a glass of wine too. Bad mommy! Now I'm upstairs while the kids watch season one of the Smurfs(I love, love, love The Smurfs! ) and DH is making a batch of homebrew. He's making one of my favorites. It's a Belgian white beer called Blanc de Bruges and has orange peel, coriander, and rock candy added. It is incredibly tasty in the summer. Unfortunately we will have to wait a couple of weeks until it is ready.

Is our luna gone for good? I "heard" a rumor somewhere else.

I am so glad to know I'm not the only one!

My husband thinks I'm nuts because I have 27 different colors of post-it notes. He just6 doesn't get it...

OMG- then you will love the Mother's Day gift I put together for MIL from Staples.

She does not frequent Staples to know what wonderous items await her!!!!!

She is so unorganzied, she has Drs appts all the time and paperwork all over her kitchen table- she also has this weird thing where she writes down EVERYTHING she sees in a mag or hears on TV that she wants to remember. She will start pulling all these pices of papers out of her handbag that she has written on ......so.....

I went to Staples today and got her a, coupon organizer, a day planner, one, small enough for her handbag and a larger one to keep in the house, a 6 pk of tiny notepads for her handbag, a paper cube for her house, and a 6pk of pens. I also got her this pretty silver wired paper tray for her crap that she has on her table.

And- lastly- one of those pretty pendeflex document files. She has a lot of Drs reports and notes she needs to keep track of........

DH kept coming down the aisle saying, are you ready? No, not yet. He comes back, ready now? No, wait I just have to go back down the notebook aisle

I like pens.. we have so many pens, I have to box them up from the junk drawer every once in a while and put the box away. Then I just get more pens..

Before I was a Mom

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.

I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.

I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom -

I had never been puked on.

Pooped on.

Chewed on.

Peed on.

I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.

I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom

I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.

Or give shots.

I never looked into teary eyes and cried.

I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.

I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.

I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.

I never knew that I could love someone so much.

I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom -

I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.

I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.

I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.

I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom -

I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.

I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,

the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
