We need to make a list of all of the things I will bring you next week...I will put it in a big basket. Each item will have the Dis name of the person who suggests it.

Who wants to start?

OK, I will...

Chocolate...it is very medicinal ya know:goodvibes

OK - who is next with what goes into Kellie's Care Packpage Basket...Don't be shy - everyone is welcome
I am going to take a lead from Hadleysun and suggest a couple of cans of chicken noodle soup should go in the basket....something Kellie can sip on when she gets tired later in the day.

Kellie

It sounds like your feeling more yourself today...Posting more, etc. I hope things are going well and the pain is starting to lessen.

Today is Michaels birthday and we are heading out to do 7 year old stuff - mini golf, playground, and who knows what else. Shhhh, we let our kids take their birthdays off from school and they pick what to do for the day.

Here is his cake - 1 is an 8" round the other is an oversized cupcake...

What cute cakes! Cake decorating was something I never got the hang of which made me sad 'cause they can be so much fun!

I vote for one of those little, tiny bottles of something yummy like Bailey's or Grand Marnier that Kellie can sneak into her coffee when John isn't looking.:rolleyes1

IAHD-I come from the background where just being "sick" of school/work is a good enough excuse to miss.:lmao: So, a birthday is even more of an excuse and I love the idea of some one on one time with the birthday kid. I may start doing that too.

I love the cakes. Wally came out really cute. I am doing better still sore but that will get better.
I love that you let them stay home from school on their birthday. My mom always did that with us and I did it with Shaunna.
Hey my company give us a hoilday for our birthday so nothing wrong with a day off from school.

John thinks that seeing I am home this is a good time for me to read the manuals on things. Like my Ipod and stove and even my car.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: He is a funny funny man. I told him the day I said I do is the day I stopped reading manuals.

Hi y'all. My friend from Greenvile, SC (where we used to live) just emailed me that she met George Clooney downtown. He and Renee Zellweger are there for something to do with "Leatherheads" and she and her son got up close to George while he was signing autographs. He talked to her son and her, too...I am not a "swooner" when it comes to him, but I think he seems to be a really neat down to earth guy. She said he is gorgeos...

So..............whatcha been up to today?

I would like to suggest those black- and -white check-out newspapers (next to the tabloids), World News or something like that. They have stories about "real' people' (who all apparently live in England :confused3 :rotfl: ) who have been abducted by aliens, etc. They are my fave trashy read- a real hoot! Helped my sis get through labor. In the basket, please...:hippie:

How about a doughnut to go with the coffee? Kellie what's your favorite?

I was thinking Munchkins. So they are easier to hide. She can pop them in her mouth when John isn't looking.

I miss Munchkins. Make sure they are chocolate with the glaze or jelly filled smoothered in sugar.

Just curious!- has anyone ever tried the Entenmann's Pop-ems! They are to die for- after you eat them- you will never go back to a Munchkin!

I will search for them the next time I go to the store. Hopefully they will be easy to find and they will satisfy the cravings.
