Whew! Just got home from DS10's (it's gonna take some practice to get used to that "10") birthday dinner-he chose the Miexican place that I use the Restaurant.com GC's from...so that was good. Then we came home and he opened his presents..a few Wii games, a Swiss Army Knife:scared: for CubScouts, a Chess set, some books about home experiments..can you guys see where some trouble is going to be "brewing"?? Actually the thing that is getting him excited is the chess set:laughing: . Who would have thought-we are NOT talking about a video game, it is a "manual" game..we will see how long that lasts, I can't remember my "moves", so DH will have to help him with that.

Ice cream cake is next, followed by mommy's official night cap...can hardly wait for that...

buhbye for now..

Enjoy your nightcap hrh!:thumbsup2 I just finished my second glass of wine of the evening. Guess I won't have anymore.:sad2: DH is out of town for the night, so as soon as the hoodlums go to sleep I'm breaking out the ice cream!:cool1:

I pay for him JUST to tell me what parks to go to on which day!:rotfl2:
You would think after my third subscription to TGM I would know which are the parks to go to, but I just renewed today! :rotfl2:

I am going to be there 8-18 to 8-28! When are you going to be there?

Hey! We will be there 8-24/29, just a few days.

Right now we are booked @ the Boardwalk, however, we are on the waiting list for The Beach Club. I bought some Time Share points from a family member!:cool1:

Mini Freap meet  I am not exactly sure of which days I will be where. But as the trip gets closer- we can arrange something if you want.

PM me and let me know!

You would think after my third subscription to TGM I would know which are the parks to go to, but I just renewed today! :rotfl2:

Me too!:lmao:

I have been subscribing on and off for a few years- I just e-mailed him a few weeks ago for a renewal price.

We are not ones to get up early for the park openings, so it is kind of hard for us to follow his touring plan. But I still like to get some info here and there from him.

I make a chart and just note which parks are green for the day and I make plans from just that info.

I am trying not to PLAN too much this time. Most of the time- we are going to try and relax at the pool in the morning, maybe use a snack credit, and early afternoon- maybe do a TS lunch at either the Boardwalk or the Beach and Yacht Club - this way we do not really need ADRs and we can go whenever we want, not like the park restuarants.

We will use our CS later in the evening at the parks.

Except- I did make ressies for the Tea Room, 1900 Park Fare dinner and Prime Time before Fantasmic.

It stinks that Prime Time is not part of the Fantasmic dinner package- but I will take a chance. I want my SIL to "experience" Prime Time! She has never been there. :dance3:

I think it would be cool to get together. We are staying at the WL.

Not doing to many ADRs as I don't want to pay so much for table service & I hated being tied down the last time we went.

During the time you are there, we have an 8:00 on Monday at Crystal Palace and a 2:30 at Whispering Canyon. So other than that, we are pretty open.

How old is your niece?

She is 6- you know- you might be there for part of the free dining if they offer it this year.

Ok- so when our dates get closer we will plan on a place and time. :yay:

My youngest is 6. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure if we will want to change our reservations more than halfway through to get the free dining. We would have to buy more tickets for that part & I don't know if the savings works out or not. We do have a 20% room discount right now. Have to work the numbers. :)

I know what you mean- I doubt we would EVER be able to stay at a deluxe for the price we got- so I am willing to give up the free dining for that. :cool1:

But we are paying for dining. It comes out to 190.00 per adult for 5 days. - that is not bad when I think about how much food costs there.

I can probably spend more than 40 bucks a day on food even if I did not do any TS meals:rotfl2:
