OM GOODNESS Kellie! Thanks for asking, and actually thanks for REMINDING me! I forgot I had the darn US! I was crazy today, busy working and then running to my office that it slipped my mind!

He is usually very good about contacting me with results ( I have been going to him for 25 years! ). I would assume he did not receive them yet. If I don't hear anything my Wed I will give him a call.

He is the one who calls me even with the negative results- not the girls from his office.

I like a DR that calls them self. I feel it is better than the nurse calling.Not knocking the nurses but I like all my results from the DR.

I got on my pre op paper work in the mail today. There is so many forms to fill out. I need to get them filled out so when I go for my last pre op testing it will make it go faster.

You know- when the doc told me to go to PT- I saw on the RX that the place had a website- so I go to check it out- and right there on the site- you can download all the paperwork! They ask you on the site to print it out, complete it and bring it with you to your appt-

I go into PT with my completed paperwork the first day and the girl's jaw dropped- she said- did you get this from the website- I said, yes. She told me I was the first person EVER to actually do it! I thought she was going to kiss me!

I like the idea of having it all done. I hate sitting there filling out papers. I never have or can remeber the stuff they want.

Hey Madd-I just visited the freebie thread. Do have an issue with the "Bible Growth Package"? For some reason I just pictured one of those little tiny pellets you throw in water...5 minutes later INSTANT BIBLE(albeit a little soggy ).

Yes, but remember the water will part for you when you throw it in the water so it will come out nice and dry

Is anyone else having a problem with the DIS being slow??

I tried to post a freebie and it took forever- and then I got this!

Yeah DH John just left to go get DD Shaunna from college.
She will be home for the week. We are going up to Sunday River in Maine at the end of the week for skiing. My Brother-in-law and his sweet wife just built a house up there so we are doing a family trip.

Wait a minute...I think I must have missed something! Did maggimus get booted??? I thought she was just busy decorating! How in the world could she get in any type of trouble? She is NEVER anything but sweet.... Am I totally confused or misunderstanding...???

I am disappointed in the direction I see this thread heading. The original purpose of this thread was to provide a place on the Budget Board for everyone to meet and greet in a friendly manner. If people want to express their fear while they go through a medical procedure, they should be able to post here without judgment. If people want to share what they have learned or received from a budget thread, they should be able to post here without being snubbed. Instead, I am seeing a lack of compassion and a clique forming. If that is the desire of some, I would like to invite you to go back to the Community Boards as that is acceptable and expected there.

I realize I live in a far away, rural setting and I don’t have that much in common with some people on these boards (with the boards being based on the east coast and in more populated areas) but I have never liked to see a sense of disharmony or ganging up on anyone on the threads. That’s just my values and I am certain there are many others who don’t share my values. But this thread was started with the intent of being welcoming to all and to get away from any one person being blasted or targeted.

If this thread dies because of my opinion I have posted here, so be it.

I think we are just frustrated b/c are not sure, like we keep saying, if she is real or just here to post freebies for $$- A lot of people have expressed frustration about her postings, you are not the only one. No worries.

ETA- I also directed that question to her on the freebe thread b/c I seriously wanted to see if she would respond. I think it is just odd that you post a ? to someone and they do not answer??? Does she see it? A very long time ago people have said she may be a robot....and I still have no idea what that is!
